I am inclined to buy over Steam. I don't really want to open a MS account.Indeed, but PC version as from MS Store (Steam version is treated separately)

Win10 for me still. Not too keen on Win11 either. I have to deal with it at work and it's a real pain, imo. Not quite as bad as 8, but up there. As an XB console owner / user, i already have an MS account.
if you are an Window 11 user, and not a very technical one, you already have to login in Windows 11 with a MS account (sure, there is an workaround to navigate around that limitation, but still, most people are not technical savvy enough to do that)

Strangely enough, after using Win11 since it was released and hated losing the familiar drop down context menus and the like...I tried recently to go back to a win10 UI via an external app but still utilising the best features of Win11...I just couldn't work with it, even after years spent on Win10. I gave up and went back to the standard Win11 UI.So was I till last week when my new gaming laptop arrived.
Now, after 1 week of using w11 i have to admit that i find it weird to have a left aligned start menu. Crazy, isn't it?
(i still prefer the familiarity of w10, but yea...)
I have a strange suspicion that with Microsoft's (and AMD's) involvement, plus being given the extra months to spend on polishing, internal playtesting etc, that Starfield may be the one to break the Bugthesda image. Between Xbox game studios and Bethesda, they seem to be pulling all the stops out for this one.i so hope it will not be an unplayable bug ridden mess for the first 4 months.
I kinda hope it is, otherwise I might not be able to resist the temptation to buy it before I actually have time to play it, which would result in my life being a "not getting important things done" mess.i so hope it will not be an unplayable bug ridden mess for the first 4 months.
Goddangit. Can you not leave the minions alone? They need to test if it's good enough to buy for me!I kinda hope it is, otherwise I might not be able to resist the temptation to buy it before I actually have time to play it, which would result in my life being a "not getting important things done" mess.
The more I hear about this game, the more I suspect it will end my RL as I know it, LOL. I usually don't have much of a RL in the dead of winter, so if I can just hold off my purchase until then..![]()
The synthesis is probably the "intended" one. The others are control and destroy. Actually there is a 4th one which I think went in with the updated endings, that is probably the "wrong" one you mean.
ME was very popular - the end of the trilogy pretty much cemented the end of the franchise. Which is good against milking stuff to death but bad when people would totally buy more stuff of that kind. BW "plans" to have another go at the franchise, but honestly - their talent isn't what it used to be and their output bears the seal of AAA: flashy bling - questionable gameplay quality.
If this accident comprised shooting the annoying kid hologram, or telling him where he can stuff his contrived choices (options added with the patch that fleshed out the ending), I would not say you picked the "wrong" ending; It is what I choose on purpose, and it's where the entity that speaks through the imaged kid drops the mask/heartstring puller. :9This year I finally finished the ME Trilogy for the first time. I accidentally "picked" the wrong ending though.
116 GB!?!Just as an aside for interested parties who bought on gamepass...the pre-loading hype machine has begun

XBox Play Anywhere is described here: https://www.xbox.com/en-GB/games/xbox-play-anywhereThis is where my confusion lies
Someone else asked the same question here and has got yes/no as well.
Edit: thanks Northpin, I’m hoping that will be the case and the expansion upgrade code will be valid for PC![]()
True enough, I checked on the website too since the question if I already owned the digital premium version on Xbox after buying the PC version still nagged at me, seemingly it's covered...that goes for DLC or season passes etc too according to the MS Play Anywhere site. All editions of Starfield are included in the Play anywhere games list...but only the digital versions.XBox Play Anywhere is described here: https://www.xbox.com/en-GB/games/xbox-play-anywhere
As far as I can see, that's fairly explicit that you buy the game once and it can be played on XBox and Windows.
Aye, my confusion arose from the physical upgrade item sale page on Amazon - the digital upgrade clearly states Xbox/PC but the physical one only has Xbox listed. I was thinking that the PC version might be a limited/exclusive thing like the merch box & smart watch, and only available from certain places.XBox Play Anywhere is described here: https://www.xbox.com/en-GB/games/xbox-play-anywhere
