And now we have our fourth woodlands animal that will serve as a not so stealthy Oceania packTemperate Oceania is basically just New Zealand and Southern Australia. I guess the quokka would also fit in that regard.

I completely empathize with you but the picture has me rolling with laughter because it’s so apt.
Their locomotion is nothing alike.Echidna would be quite easy to make out of Platypus land movements right?
That's a pretty solid pack, and it doesn't have a fully aquatic habitat species like I've seen other coastal pack ideas have.Alright, here's my shot in the dark:
Coastal Pack:
Pacific walrus (headliner)
Sea otter
Great white pelican
Little blue penguin -- I'm being optimistic by proposing a pack with two birds, but there aren't that many mammals you can go with here.
Giant pacific octopus -- an aquarium animal that could actually work in the current exhibit box format, albeit with a new biome theme. Alternatively, thinking bold here--a touch pool with multiple fish and invertebrate options.
Manatee isnt a dirty word…you can say it lolThat's a pretty solid pack, and it doesn't have a fully aquatic habitat species like I've seen other coastal pack ideas have.
I would prefer the Japanese serowSo guys, how would you feel about getting a chinese goral in a temperate pack? I just saw them at the Lake Superior Zoo (a whole herd and calf) and i thought that they have never really been mentioned on the forum?

Thinking back on this we could even get the Japanese Serow in a temperate pack, another one that people wanted for an islands pack. Now idk what I want more:I cant see getting an island pack at all really, tropical getting heavy island themed scenery ended my hopes of getting one. Temperate and similar packs fill the desired island animal slots regardless.
I'm looking forward to mixing it with takin. So guys, how would you feel about getting a chinese goral in a temperate pack? I just saw them at the Lake Superior Zoo (a whole herd and calf) and i thought that they have never really been mentioned on the forum?

On this--I don't know if Frontier is planning any big addition at this point, even at the level of something like the walkthrough exhibits, but is the touch pool with say stingrays, horseshoe crabs, starfish, etc. viable? Seems like it could be simpler than a full aquarium system, but I could see it being difficult to mesh with the current pathing system.Alright, here's my shot in the dark:

I see someone has just joined the forums. Welcome mate and thanks for the contribution, don't forget to check out the random_goat meta wishlist while your here.Based on the last 3 packs being grasslands, tropical and arid(desert) all with animals from their respective ingame biomes it looks like frontier has switched from making a pack per ingame continent to a pack per ingame biome so likely the fall pack will be temperate or taiga with the names likely being the biome or something similar. The winter pack will be tundra and the spring pack for next year will be the one not chosen in fall as every other ingame biome has a dedicated pack. its also likely it will be a scenery pack next as they haven't so far had 2 animal packs in a row.
I would also like to point out that these biomes are some of the most under represented in the game with tundra having the least amount of animals in the game at 15 animals compared to the 84 grasslands animals.
Once again, the kiwi wouldn't need a lot of work. No more work than it took to make the crane out of the flamingo. It's a ratite; you basically shrink the ostrich, add a new texture, a couple of new animations, and a bit of model work. I don't know why you keep insisting the kiwi is "a lot of work".or would need a lot of work like the kiwi
