Cenozoic DLC pack

You can use this argument for literally any extinct species... I mean look at what the Victorians did with Iguanodon and Megalosaurus, then later on to today with the Spinosaurus. Who knows we could still be wrong today, fossil structure is always changing so what's the big deal about appearance accuracy?
Once Andrewsarchus gets in the game, should there be both models of what it looked like? The dog look & the entelodont look.

Personally I'm not interested in adding post-Mesozoic species into the game. I'd rather Frontier focused on Jurassic lore/story inclusive species than random ones appearing out of the blue. For example, Camp Cretaceous species or Novel and JP: Telltale species variants.

In my opinion Frontier need to improve the gameplay before they add any new species as at this point the Park building aspect is getting pretty dull and repetitive...
We need new amenities, building designs, gameplay options and attractions!

I am getting a bit concerned and worried about these cenozoic dlc ideas because of the mantah corp dlc idea/request I made with the smilodon and mammoth. But don't get me wrong I do want a cenozoic dlc to come in the game I just don't want them to put creatures in the game that I already have plans for like they did with the nothosaurus. but these are great ideas though.

So you are saying that you want the Smilodon in a Mantah Corp DLC?

That's not a fair comparison; Victorians had literally no idea what a dinosaur was... let alone what any of them looked like... and early reconstructions of Spinosaurus were based on what they knew about large theropods at the time... Andrewsarchus is known from a single badly preserved skull fragment, and it in such bad shape people still debate whether it was a mesonychian, an entelodont, or something else entirely. There's a huge difference between the animals we know enough about to get a general idea of what they look like... and the animals so poorly understood we can't even decide what family group they're a part of... especially when there's a veritable mountain of far more viable alternatives to work with.

Once Andrewsarchus gets in the game, should there be both models of what it looked like? The dog look & the entelodont look.
It doesn't make sense to add either one... adding both? That would likely require two separate rigs, effectively making them two separate animals, which makes even less sense. And prioritizing Andrewsarchus over actual, well known entelodonts like Entelodon or Daeodon? Also doesn't make sense.

No, it is OK. I just went for something that is bigger & deadlier than Smilodon for this pack.
There's lots of things that fall under that category... heck, one of the biggest and deadliest may have been Megatherium, the giant ground sloth.

We could be wrong now, yeh we got more knowledge now than back 200 years ago but whos to say how much our knowledge will expand within the next 200 years...

Ok then, Metriacanthosaurus for example then...
