Absolutely agreed - one of my most-wanted habitat birds in Planet Zoo. Would definitely add something quite unlike any bird we have in-game at the moment.
For me its quite the opposite, im really looking forward to the new pack. Didnt really play at all the last couple months, due to not having to much time and also being burned out a bit. But i got in the mood to play again recently, so a new dlc would be perfect to jump back in
Honestly one of the things that makes me doubt an island pack will happen is because of the amount of birds it would need to have, which goes against what frontier normally does

I’m ready for the next pack. I have a few more habitats I can build for before needing to know where to put new species. I am starting to get tired of the game so a new pack is what I need.
Fair point although i dont think it NEEDS a massive amount of birds to be cool.
A island scenery pack with just the kiwi seems fine. And adding the flamingo for some new world rep is basicly a color change and the penguins are also not too much work, so both are not that unlikely.
After that it gets a little tricky since all of them are very unique. And as an islands pack has many unique candidates so they would also have some pretty serious competition

If I had to pick 3 it would probably be the flamingo, kiwi, and pigeon. I would love the Guam rail due to its conservation story, but those are the three I want the most.
Definetly nene, kiwi and pelican for me.
Honestly an islands pack without a Pelican feels like a seriously missed opportunity.

The pelican is something were i couldnt care less with species we get. Id welcome all with open arms
Same, it is the one waterfowl I think is essential for the game.
