Box turtle or snapping turtle would be my picks. Personally, I'd prefer the box turtle as the exhibit set-up would be different than anything we have. I'd envision some pine needles/fall leaves on the bottom of the tank.

That and Spore. I loved those little blurbs in the loading screens. Maxis was so cool back then...
Frontier, can y'all add little blurbs into the loading screens that are funny? Not just tips? Or maybe give us a toggle to replace tips with silly blurbs?

2) Sea Otter
3) Marine Iguana
4) Atlantic Puffin
5) Coconut Crab or Caribbean Hermit Crab
I'm also a fan of the pelican but I'm still dreaming of a final birds pack

Maybe blue sky thinking but I would LOVE this so much. I do think the WE would work really well to integrate underwater tunnels as it could just be built into the design of it.

I'm not sure how likely is that, but I think there is a possibility that frontier will announce today Free Update 1.15? I know monday it's probably the day, but still there is possibility i think.
Well within possiblity I guess, not sure which DLC but I think they actually did a free update announcement on Friday evening AEDT.
yes if I remember correctly it was with Wetlands Animal Pack but it just possibility I wouldn't say for sure "today we getting announcement for the free update" I just think we should keep our eyes out
Would make sense to announce update today so we can all get excited over the weekend. If it’s announced Monday morning, many of us may be working so may not have the same impact.
Unless the update comes after Monday because it introduces something new that would spoil the DLC announcement?
I'm late but just wanted to add something. There are some differences in appearance between the two bisons but one of the biggest difference between them is about their behavior/way of life. The american bison lives in open plains, while the european bison is a forest animal. Learned that in my ethology classes. So, yeah, they are actually pretty different.
Pelicans are not technically waterfowl (that term refers to ducks, goose and swans) but yeah I think they are also pretty important aquatic birds. Pelican, ibis, swan and duck are all unique and important in their own way.

I’m curious as to why we got the special livestream announced unusually ahead of time. Usually it’s a day or two before. I guess it may be because they aren’t doing regular livestreams every week at the moment. But also hopeful they are shaking things up and we’ll hear something about it all today. I’m checking Twitter every hour. Otherwise, it’s likely to be 11am Monday for the update news. It’s been same day as the livestream last two DLC.
A teaser might be possible today given that Fridays tend to be a free-for-all over on their socials but... I'm not banking on it unless it's something super subtle (which isn't usually their style; not intentionally anyway). Dropping the update news on Monday ahead of the livestream would make a bigger splash, and have a more positive impact on the livestream numbers, I think.
