That is nothing. I’ve got IDF’s with literal rat nests in them :D

And if they weren’t plastered with service data I’d post as many pics as you could hope for.

And if you have ever wondered what happens to enterprise kit in an industrial weld/grind environment - it’s not pretty :D

All those games companies that have shared whitepapers, free frameworks and their documentation - that serve the industry with technology that scales in the cloud, avoids SQL transactions under demand (for games like Halo) and adds persistence - why did they even bother?

Chris posts one ranty forum post a year announcing that he's having to fix it himself internally and it's everyone else's fault and everyone says it's "open"

Most importantly, it says that nothing changed in their mindset. Chris gonna Roberts, there is no process of learning there.

Now, imagine what would happen if we could, for example, pay for access to a concept of a star system instead of a ship, in Star Citizen. The game would already have fifty star systems, borked but there, each year we would get a new surprise system to pay for access to, but at the same time many of the already sold ones would be absent from the 'verse years after initial sale.

And we would have a single, incomplete spaceship to use.

Imagine if they split the devs and sold both. Why do I have a horrible feeling they would make even more money without getting ANY new ships or systems.

Meanwhile in $500 land...

Is the Hull C too broken to buy?

Top Comment said:
It's completely broken. I spent all my UEC on cargo without ever being able to sell any of it, so I guess I'll just sit around and wait for a patch. Some issues you will encounter:
  • cannot undock
  • cannot unload cargo
  • ship spawns perpendicular to the docking port
  • ship spawns with spindles out bouncing around the hangar
Edit:
  • economy doesn't really exist, and there are not really alternatives routes or anything like you may find in other cargo "gameplay"
Honestly, it's unconscionable they're still selling the Hull C in its current state.

more issues:
  • The rear EVA door cant be locked, anyone can get into the ship
  • when spawning at a docking port, anyone can just walk in there
  • you have 2 turrets, but only 1 turret operator seat
