Thargoid invasion - Next target systems?

46 systems are still control + unpopulated + atmospheric planet + no reported action since update 16 + not on matrix list.
Most/all will have been checked with FSS at some point, just without causing 2% we can see or popping some scouts and returning later for EDDN.

So I kind of just noticed HIP 20616 around Indra is under alert(following end of recapture safety net)… with all of its surface ports at 175k ls… and there’s a barnacle matrix next door… oh dear.

On a more positive note, Montioch looks like it’s very strongly pulling ahead, even surpassing Njorog in progress when I looked just now(~1:27 AM CET). Perhaps locals just had been stockpiling samples until now… not that I’d know for sure.

Victories in Col 285 Sectors NG-E b12-4, UH-C b13-2 and NG-E b12-3, 79 b Tauri, HIP 22566 (well done!), Hyades Sectors IM-V c2-11 and ON-S b4-6, and overtaking the others is Ebisu! Note that Omumba will be a bit behind, although its long-term chances are quite good, almost having reached the one-third surplus and having one more planetary port available. Thank you all at M. Hadad for the continued support at Montioch!

Taking a look at it—while 175k Ls suits nobody well, I think having four planetary ports makes it suit Invasion much more so than Alert, insofar as several port defences can be done following only one Supercruise journey. That said, I have not checked how common are Glaive interdictions recently!

There is at least one very strong combat group which has been active in high-strength Control systems around M. Hadad in general; unfortunately we are not always able to turn that activity into a recaptured system, but everything aligned well this week.

I do not think anything for Montioch was stockpiled; INIV has harvested and delivered 12907 for 43.2%, and another 26.8–28.8% from others places it at 70–72%. I think it is rising actively at the moment, for which I am most thankful of course!

683 samples gathered for Chnemine so far. Slow progress due to the fact there's bugs to shoot in the Invasions, but hey - it's not like samples go off.

I suppose that would be a good explanation - I had simply thought that stockpiling looked like an alternative to have been considered by whichever forces worked locally, seeing how previous recapture attempts generally didn’t work out for completion without external assistance, with delivery work taking place beside/between fighting the invasion at Omumba.

Nothing I could have known for sure, of course. Just options I considered in my head, but you cleared that up. I guess it’s possible some of Omumba’s (relative) lack of progress is because the combat group are largely busy in Montioch instead.

Victories in HIP 6694, Pegasi Sectors TK-L a9-0, HH-U b3-2 and IH-U b3-8, Nu Guang, Hyades Sectors RO-R c4-20 and GB-N b7-5, Arietis Sector XJ-R b4-2 and Col 285 Sectors KW-M c7-31 and PM-B b14-3! The primary Invasion group is approaching completion along with Montioch; well done to all for the perseverance on those fronts in a quite high-strength week, and also to those continuing the excellent level of empty Alert and Control system completion.

After those Invasions, note that Omumba is beyond the surplus threshold, but also that an attack next week could choose one of its Outposts instead of its other Planetary port. In all consideration, pushing the surplus higher this week seems like a reasonable idea, and I am a little curious about what combat bond totals such would achieve this week!

Do we know who's working in HIP 8525? It's up to 20% and I'll happily join in if it's likely to get somewhere.
Not to my knowledge. There’s likely some local group acting in controls as some of them frequently see varying levels of progress(including spikes such as 8525 has seen this cycle), but there is no planned action that I could point to.

I noticed that HIP 8525 had gained 16% in a day, although unfortunately said day needs to be Thursday or Friday for that to project completion. If you discover who it is, obviously starting earlier is the first suggestion!

If the target system then turns out not to matter much, I would suggest attacking instead the isolated pair of Akbakara and Liu Huang one at a time, perhaps moving up to the truly-isolated Tougeir. As it is, HIP 8525 will start being attacked by Kanus and HIP 13179—unless that is the plan, of course.

There is actually a plan to recapture it, though I’m not sure of its current progress in regards to sample stockpiling - I made a case to recapture it (over in the DCoH discord) to keep Jeng out of Thargoid sights at least temporarily, if they pick up the pace again, rather than be content with the current (relative) stalemate.

I might ask, been thinking about doing so anyway.

If I understand the process, Tougeir will attack Lahua at the end of next week, which is a little unfortunate because the plan here is to prevent Col 285 Sector RH-B b14-2 from attacking Muruidooges. Beyond that, though—if Tougeir is still around on 12th October 3309 at the start of week 46, just call for anything to be delivered which may have been stockpiled, and either way we can complete Tougeir that weekend just before update 17.

By all means stop Tougeir next week if one can, but otherwise that attack will be its last!

Additional: Could attack Lahua, but does not. If the quirk of attacking beyond the Maelstrom perimeter keeps Tougeir silent next week, consider that plan expedited to stop Tougeir before its next round with Jeng!

Commander @deanom59 has about 6000 samples from Tougeir on his carrier. And commander @PapaDragon_I has an additional buy order on his carrier "[SNPX] Resolute". Any assistance would be very welcome. @PapaDragon_I: please give a hint of the current location of the Resolute...

Unfortunately we have only a few commanders doing harvesting, so we have got enough to do with the current alerts. We want HIP 11111 getting in invation this cycle, so SNPX won't harvest there.

Victories in HIPs 116360 and 10168, Col 285 Sectors SH-B b14-5 and RM-B b14-8, Jeng, Njorog and Hyades Sector FB-N b7-3! One last poke at Arietis Sector MX-U c2-18 should defend it, then Omumba will be challenging to complete but otherwise fine to help give it a better start next week.

HIP 8525 remains well by momentum but having started a bit too late this week, meanwhile a bit more action at Iduni should let us complete it if not already by Wednesday evening, and Montioch will be ours amid or before this Tuesday evening!

Wonderful; thank you all! That becomes half for Tougeir already, when we are ready to use it. If we reach week 45, Tougeir is still Control and our recent understanding of M. Oya predicts that it will attack Jeng—INIV will just start Tougeir deliveries.

For anyone looking to mess with revenants, I have a shameless plug to make: The Leftorium (H2B-14M), currently parked in HIP 20527, has a bar with all the materials for sale that are required for upgrading the Karma L-6 rocket launcher, which can one-shot revenants once it reaches grade 4. Pioneer Supplies is also active on-board so you can purchase/upgrade there if you're too lazy to go to a fully active station.

(I will endeavour to keep the stock supplies available because quite frankly, there's not a lot else to keep me currently interested in the game...)

Thanks Ned, just what I need to do mine. Much appreciated.

The SNPX Resolute is parked in Muchihiks and will stay ther for the time. Sampel count: 386/ 6114.
As Shayan said we don´t have many cmdrs so we appriciate any help.

Edit: Someone cleared out the tungsten carbide supply almost immediately, I added a handful more and some buy orders for tradable assets if people want to help me out restocking it.
Quick warning: Grade 4 rocket launchers only sometimes one-shot revenants. Had a lot of fun discovering that sometimes they don't.

Both myself and @PapaDragon_I have been running tests to see if killing Revenants gives war progress outside the bonus you get from the missions themselves. It seems they do, but not that much - killing 100 revenants in Warnones (13.59 Ly) only gave 0.000113 war progress, which is only equivalent to a few samples.

I very much hope that this will be different for the new revenants at the matrix sites as soon as they’re open.
