They should definitely create smaller Variants of some Food, so it fits the Size of the Animal better
I actually think it's very funny. It's little funky things like this and the way guests walk (because, let's face it, the guests in PZ walk funny) that bring a charm for me. Not like ZT2's, but it's one charm, and I hope that we get more silly/absurd things like itI actually wish we could make food invisible at times like this, it was the same with the African penguin. It’s just not very realistic.
I agree, plus I've worked with birds of prey before and although that is probably a bit of a stretch until you've seen a small owl attempting and succeeding to eat a rat whole you wouldn't believe how much they can stretch their mouths! Not sure if penguins have a crop like lots of birds actually (expandable sack before it gets to their stomach) I'd assume so cos they regurgitate for their chicks etc. but I'm not very familiar with their anatomy.I actually think it's very funny. Non-Oceania players are allowed to build their zoos in Oceania if they want to.Man, I'm late, any who fantastic dlc easily one of the best, but also one of the most useless for Non-Oceania players, kinda like how Europe Pack is useless for Non-Europe players but times 2.
Both packs allow people from anywhere in the world to include such a section in their zoo. Don't have to be from a certain region to enjoy its animals.Man, I'm late, any who fantastic dlc easily one of the best, but also one of the most useless for Non-Oceania players, kinda like how Europe Pack is useless for Non-Europe players but times 2.

I am sorry. I was not trying to be rude. I am glad Oceania players got a dlc just for them and I was trying to congratulate that while expressing my Opinion. please forgive me and I was not trying to be rude. with that said this is the worst dlc because there is no hyraxBoth packs allow people from anywhere in the world to include such a section in their zoo. Kiwis, Tasmanian devils, quokkas, and little blue penguins all have a captive presence outside of Oceania. Most of the Europe Pack animals have a captive presence outside of Europe. I'm not sure what you're even talking about with this. I'm not offended, just genuinely confused how you can hold such an opinion considering it's objectively an incorrect statement to make. Like, I hated the North America Animal Pack and largely the Twilight Pack for the prevalence of NA species, but I still admit that both packs have something for me.Man, I'm late, any who fantastic dlc easily one of the best, but also one of the most useless for Non-Oceania players, kinda like how Europe Pack is useless for Non-Europe players but times 2.
Flying fox can be used as a substitute for all flying fox species, which are very common in zoos, and the quokka can be used as a substitute for common small maruspials like bettongs. The Tasmanian devil is not uncommon outside of australia, neither is the kiwi limited to new zealand.Man, I'm late, any who fantastic dlc easily one of the best, but also one of the most useless for Non-Oceania players, kinda like how Europe Pack is useless for Non-Europe players but times 2.
Hardly. The kakapo would be a worse inclusion than the proboscis monkey. They can't even be exported out of New Zealand, and aren't kept in captivity even here. They have no place in a zoo game at all. They're niche even in their home country. It's a bit disappointing we never got the Kakapo in this DLC.
The underwater temple plants stacked on top of each other. Gives the appearance of kelp without making a new plant.Hey all you cool kiwis and quokkas, anyone know what plants these are in the trailer?

they could at least have put the map borders in the water, the map is useless like thisI love the new island map!
For anyone who's interested, the dimensions of it are approximately 336m x 296m with the entrance on the longer edge. Or 84 x 74 standard wall/floor pieces. See image below - just ignore the ugly terraforming, I flattened the map to take measurements using floor pieces. The actual map has some lovely soft gradients in it at the edges. This is the flat or sculpted temperate Oceania map*
I really like that it's smaller. That combined with the map skirt gives a less intimidating 'blank page' feel to starting a new zoo. Dimensions taken, inspiration flooding in, now to start planning phase
FYI - playing today, will work on updating my spreadsheet tomorrowor Thursday. Or later. Depends how addicted I get in my new map!

I hope they won't use it in a third Trailer because by then it should definitely be made as a proper PlantThe underwater temple plants stacked on top of each other. Gives the appearance of kelp without making a new plant.

That map was just the same. An island but the sea didn't reach any of the borders of your usable area. So you couldn't make a ferry entrance.I hope they won't use it in a third Trailer because by then it should definitely be made as a proper Plant
they aren't? Aren't the Map Borders of Goodwin Memorial Zoo or however that Island Scenario was called, completely surrounded by Water? Why doesn't it work with this one then?
