Essential Tropical Scrubland/Savanna animal wishlist

After the islands, we go to the Tropical Scrublands and Savannas!

This biome are more represented in PZ than the islands, but there would still be room for expansion and the savanna region of Africa are well represented, but would be fine more species from the Indian, Australian and South American savannas.
For example, the everyone's favourite bird, the Secretary bird are still missing in the game, but would fit easily in the Africa pack, Grasslands animal pack or Arid animal pack. Furthermore, there are other savanna animals that would also take their place in Planet Zoo.

RULES:
  1. All users may submit maximum 30 species, but could be less, if you want.
  2. Mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fishes and invertebrates are allowed.
  3. Only the terrestrial, freshwater and semi-aquatic marine animals are allowed.
  4. The species could be habitat or exhibit/WE animals.
  5. All animals should be mostly native on Tropical Savannas and Scrublands from all continents.
  6. Only living animals, extinct ones are not OK!

I think grasslands would be a better descriptor for this. Savannah really is synonymous with Africa grasslands.

1. Serval

I think a savannah pack would be great. There’s still a few gaps in Africa and more importantly in west Asia, South America and northern Australia

Since when is the Guanaco a savannah animal?

This guy lives rather in highlands and temperate grasslands.

Savannahs are a mixed grassland-woodland habitat, essentially grassy-woodlands. The map you have posted is for a type of savannah called ‘tropical savannah’ which you correctly pointed out the guanaco does not inhabit. However, it does inhabit temperate and montane savannahs (which I am assuming is what you are using ‘highland’ to represent).

For the most part, I mean tropical savanna under the title of the thread.

Here we go:
  1. Honey Badger
  2. Hamadryas Baboon
  3. Giant OR Southern Eland
  4. Secretary Bird
  5. Blackbuck
  6. Rock Hyrax
  7. Vervet Monkey

Matyej167, that type/kind of idea's my hope too although that's mostly similar to Grassland Animals Pack. I especially hope for African leopard (last to complete the Big Five of Africa) and after that, Masai giraffe and baboon.

Yes, I think a Savannah DLC could be essential.

Can you give a wishlist for this thread?
