They'll just suck it up and/or down and buy a new shiny thing to lord over the plebs with. Pushing the whales to spend new money to stay on top has been a theme lately, like subs getting priority.Actually the tears with be from the whales - before they had an exclusive and OP ship. Once it is nerfed they will have a common and tragic ship. This could be good

I find it interesting that Frontier gets flak for not releasing the exclusive Cobra MkIV and now how CIG is getting flak for releasing the exclusive F8C. Though the situations differ by a large amount, to be fair. Frontier releasing the Cobra MkIV now would be like CIG releasing the F8C five years after the release of SQ404. Still, should Frontier now be praised for standing their ground in regards to the Cobra MkIV? I imagine the reception of Frontier making the Cobra MkIV available to purchase in game would likely be similar to this, so maybe they're right to keep it exclusive.
So many reasons for that gif response, I can't pick which one it was intended for.
That's the great thing about it, we can all imagine it supports our own side of any argument or position and we all go home happy!

I mean, fair enough they are mad at CIG for having a limited number of free ship tickets, and it seems as those who get devs on their servers are having the most luck (streamers and org leaders - surely no coincidence that devs are on their streams), but i'd be more mad at the whole concept of having to find a ticket that allows me to give CIG more money.

I don't see it as fair that they create an event that 99.9% of the players will never have the opportunity to get said ticket, an event that only aims to create expectation. I ask CIG to withdraw...

Well... after resisting temptation to post on this thread for two weeks to give my wrists some badly needed time to heal, and mostly doing the same regarding lurking, I see that CIG is still up to its skeevy ways.
They got dreams, didn't they? Much better than an actual game from one of those dastardly misleading publishers.
My admiration knows no bounds...
