Winter 2023 DLC Speculation

The big reason why deer are so rare in zoos in the USA is because chronic wasting disease is so prevalent there - there are laws against transporting any deer across state lines, which means that many exotic deer are only kept in a tiny handful of zoos and often isolated from any other zoo population.
That's interesting. It does make sense, I guess. However, I would think that the AZA would have some freedoms regarding breeding exotic deer in their zoos, especially if it's an endangered species (right?)
Wait a minute, didn't we have a full out argument on the fall thread about brown bears? Let's not do that again, it almost topped the red river hog controversies.
Fine. Let's go back to foxes and wildcats🙄

Unfortunately, it seems like there are no exemptions to the rule, which is probably why deer are now getting so rare in American zoos. The few exotic deer that are doing well are now tending to have their entire captive population kept in a single zoo.

American black bear, Spectacled Bear and Sloth bear. We only get one for the rest of the games support. Which one and why?
