and continues to explain meshing :)
Except what I described to you is not server meshing friend, is the basic server structure that many MMO use, even those that are instance based… which pretty much is the structure CIG already has in place (which they could have used to showcase Pyro… by just allowing you to select a spawn point, located in a Pyro server, from the lobby?)

Now, granted that meshing just means a connection exist between multiple nodes (you can have a full mesh or a partial mesh), is important to clarify that what CIG have been referring as server meshing is in regards of the servers that handle a zone/map for which transition and interaction must be seamless, in other words no load screen and no shards (edit: is not solely this thought as other parts of the game need to be designed for meshing too but this is the core of the technology). Is the part that will allow Stanton ServerA and Stanton ServerB to communicate with each othe so I can fire my barrage of missiles from space and grief you while you are sitting on the pad trying to defend your homestead from the 200 RSI auroras me and my buddies brought.

Edit: Trying hard to keep my grammar clean… English is hard and my old fat fingers are not accurate anymore 😌

Yes you could, but as Leela stated, "these things are hard to aim!"
The exploding toilet is probably a new form of energetic propulsion.
Thank you, I had already used polluted water for oxygen generation. I need to go deeper and consider polluted dirt and water for energy generation in Oxygen not Included

Oh so the Dragonfly is supposed to fold up into hand luggage...

I'll stop you just there: for starters SC is not "just any MMO". From every evidence in our possession, which include the game itself installed on our PCs and various proclamations made by CiG themselves, what they have is the pre-2008 CryEngine FPS server code that was initially made for 16 person LAN parties (IIRC), on top of which they quickly hacked an additional XML layer to transport their entities. Yes with that network code, client authority and desync are huge issues, and from what we see on the real product, it still is as of today. It explains also the server memory leaks and their not-so-slow death when more than 16 people are connected at the same time.

So moving from that, you can certainly not "just add connectivity" to your server nodes as they are definitely not coded in any way to support that. The core server engine needs to be completely re-coded to actually manage distributed events. This is in good part why CiG, for 11+ years now, have been unable to support any MMO-level amount of players, and why "just adding meshing" has been such a conundrum.

throws tantrum

The actual professor, not the pretend one, would be laughing like a hyena at around this point. To achieve movement you need to "eject" mass, so you could move by throwing an object because the object and your body then become two objects that have exchanged energy in the form of momentum, but anything that remains attached to your body, like your arm, will simply result in the forces balancing and no movement, as they, physics Sherlock!

Just like Bunnyman, this never gets old.

Played all day yesterday without really any big issues (on an SC scale). No 30k's and ran fine.

Biggest issue was trying to do bunker missions and the targets falling through the floor so unable to complete the mission. Only tried that once.

Yeah that came in with this patch. Dunno if it's to do with the new SQ42 animations / AI or what, but they're phasing through floors with abandon.

This one is pretty funny, lol. CIG and stepping on rakes.

Not allowing multi-purchasing of the same ship (just for the LTI)? Yep, def a mistake 😁

(Can't help but feel that those wanting to buy dupes are the ones walking into rakes though ;))

Not wanting to buy dupes. If you bought the F8 for store credit when it first came out, you got 6 months insurance.

Now it is being offered with 10 year insurance.

What these people want to do is melt their current 6 month insurance ship and get (with credit) the same ship with 10 year insurance.

Those are absolutely priceless. Mote, meet the beam...
Whether they are credible or not, they tend to cultivate unrealistic expectations.
our focus isn't on the instant gratification that stems from hastily shared information.
sharing information, typically when a more solidified plan is in place. Admittedly, even a solidified plan remains subject to change

Fair enough, not dupes. Just multiple purchases, goaded by CIG's 'rewards for fresh cash', in pursuit of an insurance system that doesn't even work yet.

Seems like a series of pratfalls to me ¯\(ツ)/¯
