This would be such a good pack. If I had to pick a European endemic cat, I'd go for my Iberian lynx to feed my very regional viases. It's such a good list of zoo animals, I love it.

I mean out of all animal groups that we don’t have (and honestly there’s very very few) a lagomorph seems like it should be number one, specifically Arctic Hare. It’s cute, it has a popular media presence cause it’s a bunny, and it would be a really good filler species for tundra/NA sections.
While I wouldn’t like the overall roster of a tundra animal pack, I gotta admit, if it has Arctic Hare and Wolverine that’s an instant buy for me. Wapiti would also be a valuable asset to a Tundra pack roster that I would enjoy.

PZ DLCs always release on Tuesdays which means it'll either be the 12th or the 19th. So if they stick with the usual lead-time they have between the announcement and release either of these could work but the fact that Frontier is going to be closed for the holidays... A release on the 19th would almost be cutting it too close toward the end-of-year period if something were to go wrong with the update and/or DLC that needed patching.
With the exception of the Arctic pack they've steered clear of releasing it later in the month. Aquatic was on December 8th, Europe was December 14th, and Grasslands was December 13th. Just a bit earlier given the way dates have shifted from year-to-year!
The 12th is still in that same range so unless the roll-out's gonna be much shorter than usual... We should get a reveal next week. I would be shocked if we didn't.
The roster would be an overall "meh" but the picks that I'd love I would really love. Wolverine, sea otter, puffins, and an arctic hare would get me. I don't know that I'd ever actually build for the hare but... It would inevitably spur on some great mods that I'd want access to.
I'm just generally pretty lukewarm on that pack as a theme because, similar to Arid, the rest of it would very likely include at least 2-3 animals that I know I'd almost definitely never actually build for (in contrast to the Highlands/Mountain/Alpine packs which have potential rosters I would absolutely love from top-to-bottom).

We don’t know if we’re gonna get another cold climate pack before support ends, I’m really hoping takin makes the cut.
Zootierliste says that both have exactly 0 current holdings, maybe you looked at past holdings? Cause there the holdings of the southern elephant seal are significantly higher with 39 compared to 7

Yeah I mentioned in a following comment that a link from zoochat directed me to the former holdings. My fault for not realising there are both current and former holdings.

Easy, i got stuff prepared for the mara, spec bear and literally any cold asian ungulates with a strong preferance for the takin, while also being very open for more south american and african animals. )I always like to showcase the new animals since number one I’m a content creator and building for new animals right away usually sees a spike in views. And second I just genuinely like building for new animals, who wouldn’t?

Right now for OakWood Zoo I have:
- A grassy spot beside my wallabies that can easily be turned into an enclosure for preferably an echidna or tree roo.
- An enclosure I’m building now for the anteater but would suit the Mara way better so I would swap it out.
- I’ve always planned for a bear in my Americas section, either ABB or Spectacled I’ll add either.
- In my Americas section I’ve also got room for Wolverine, Arctic Hare, Wapiti, and even if I don’t like them that much and would only add them for the views, the Musk Ox. Same goes for the stoat.
- As for Asia and Africa, I really haven’t dug deep into any planning for these sections. If the pack is Asia focused though I will start planning it out more. Africa is probably the last section I’ll finish but I’ll always add new species. I am dying to make a mix enclosure between Hyrax and Gelada. If we get those 2 i’ll never complain.

Me hating myself building the 30th meerkat habitat because literally every North american zoo I recreate has one. I'm actually looking forward to building a hamadryas baboon habitat for a change so I actually wouldn't mind getting it in the dlc.

it’s spelt ‘Gelada’ god guys come on.Loved to hear them! Writing out idears is allways great, i tend to do that in what did you do in planet zoo today from time to time.
I mostly try to organically advance my zoo bit by bit in all directions with multiple different direction that go into different themes. Helps me to focus on what i like most, panorama shots and this great feeling of seeing something from somewhere you never eventhought and making the view much better, while also helping me to allways build for what i feel like with many different options open to me for expansion.
Im gonna be honest, after all 3 packs this year kinda let me down and the peccary was the only one to spark my creativity id really love a highland pack, just simply because of the high chance that i will get stuff that i activly want or that is atleast neat.
As much as i would hate a himalayan focus on principal as everywhere should get some love, the fact that i got a cold climate asia section do be a good painkiller if that would happen so everything mountains would bring atleast something id like, unless its somehow northamerica 4 which like no thank you
Generally i dont even like building for whats new that much cause thats kinda what everyones doing so i usally add just one or two, but i gotta say after such a long drought of animals that genuinly interest me id be more then happy to get some new animals that really give me the spark
