I have several copies of EDO, the stock market isn't going to affect how much I have already spent, is it?
Frontier may be on the verge of collapse - who knows in this here game forum - nobody, I assume. Although speculation is always entertaining. But it still makes no difference - my money (and yours) has already been spent - we have all had use of a product with a known finite life - unless, naturally, one bought games as an investment, which seems highly unlikely.
No, they are just folk who spent a small amount of money for a product, and have use of it for a finite period.Customers are "stakeholders" - particularly so when the product depends on the state of the company.
ETA: I also drive a car (quite a nice one) but don't consider it makes me a "stakeholder" - just a customer who gave them money for a limited life product.
