Maybe watch some of the YouTubers that mostly play PZ but also occasionally do JWE2 stuff. I think that gives you the most honest look into what can't be done in JWE2 compared to PZHonestly, I have been reading on JWE2 forum for a bit since it was getting boring here with the same discussions over and over (sorry guys..). I don't have JWE but it looks interesting. How is it different from Planet zoo? For example building, are the buildings premade? Do you also have unlimited options to build like in Planet zoo?
It's fun if you like dinosaurs but those who value the build anything approach in the planet series will be let down. The value of the game to me was how long would my interest in dinosaurs last.Honestly, I have been reading on JWE2 forum for a bit since it was getting boring here with the same discussions over and over (sorry guys..). In shortcut PZ is more about building, whereas JWE2 is more about animals.I don't have JWE but it looks interesting. How is it different from Planet zoo? For example building, are the buildings premade?
Oh then nevermind lolI am not so much a dinosaur fan or a fan of the movies though I am impressed with the quality of the animations and animals. Maybe I will buy it one day.
You could play PK. Has dinosaurs and free building. It is still in development SO it is not a finished game. They add things as they go along with development.
Nah. They have been working on enormous animal update, which will allow them to add hunting and such in future.PK will never be finished.
I really want to like prehistoric kingdom for what it could offer but after playing Planet games and jwe, it's hard. At best it feels like an early testing version for Planet zoo.You could play PK. I haven't played much because weirdly enough My computer can handle PZ but was very laggy with PK. I should try again though maybe they did some optimización as well with the new updates.PK will never be finished. It's still that chaotic unplayable mess it was a year before.
Animals look great though. They lack in animations for now.I really want to like prehistoric kingdom for what it could offer but after playing Planet games and jwe, it's hard. At best it feels like an early testing version for Planet zoo.
For me it simply needs way more animals. Game is at the stage where devs are adding most popular ones, which arent very consistent with each other. Would like to make thematic zones about certain formations and such, but for now its like puting tiger next to african elephant, which is kind of dull to me. The day they will start release thematic DLCs will make it seriously interesting.I played PK a bit but i cant say it really captured me. Idk despite loving dinosaurs the idea of a paleo zoo game really isnt appealing to me.
Yes same but at the same time they are still missing very important ones like Stegosaurus, Pachycefalosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Allosaurus, Carnotaurus, Diplodocus, Spinosaurus, etc. So i like that they are adding the more popular important ones first. For me it simply needs way more animals. I mean one cant really fault an early access game for not having a ton of content yet.For me it simply needs way more animals. They are probably afraid to add spinosaurus since it changes drasticly every year it feels likeYes same but at the same time they are still missing very important ones like Stegosaurus, Pachycefalosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Allosaurus, Carnotaurus, Diplodocus, Spinosaurus, etc. So i like that they are adding the more popular important ones first.
Yeah. I have the same feeling. I don:t think we will ever have a definitive version of Spinosaurus lolThey are probably afraid to add spinosaurus since it changes drasticly every year it feels like![]()
