I lied...
NOW, its

It's not in my personal top birds, but I do want SA rep. A rhea seems necessary, but maybe not exciting. It checks a box for regional rep, I guess. I really want waterfowl, pelicans, flying birds, something cool for SA like an ibis or spoonbill, some of the neat African habitat birds, and a couple for NA. I get the rhea not being a favorite.Okay so what "getting the rhea ontop off all the ratites and penguins we already got" when im asking for birds feels like to me:
Imagine there are no ungulate in the game besides giraffe and zebra for example, and you really like ungulate because of their grazile and elegant build, beautiful adornments and so on. So you would really like some gazelles, antelopes and deer in the game, but all you get ungulate wise are different species of rhinos and hippos. Their cool on their own right but really the most untypical ungulates out there. So 4 years in there still isnt a single antelope or deer, instead you got 5 rhinos and 3 hippos.
Sorry but I disagree. Out of the countless packs we didn’t get birds it feels like to me that people have started to take advantage of the fact that we got 2 birds in a pack and now expect more from frontier when all I really see it as is an easy escape for them to make a second penguin.Habitat birds are more important than any of that by a long shot and a mountain pack is perfect for a waterfowl rig (bar-headed goose) or a clone like the monal.
I could see it easily breaking 600 maybe 700 once we get speculating after the first animal reveal.OOOH 500 pages!! I wonder what we'll be up to at launch?
Good point, I was wondering why it said lumi, then I remembered it was the fairy tale character Lynx.I wouldn't say the community challenge is nessacarily a hint. I think its just a reference to the Europe Pack special stream from a couple years ago.
I do want SA rep aswell. Thats why to me the muscovy duck is a superior choice in every single way. Its also SA, just as common in zoos, finally a waterfowl, could have many colorvariation that are so popular among people aswell, and even doubles as a domesticated animalIt's not in my personal top birds, but I do want SA rep. Compare mountains to all the other packs without birds that should’ve. Tropical, arid, Southeast Asia, South America, etc. mountains really doesn’t seem like the pack that is gonna deliver our bird needs, it feels like a pack that frontier would take advantage of the fact that there are so many good mammals and just say “ok, there are a lot of mammals requested, most easy to make, let’s make the pack all mammals” and I honestly don’t think people would care that much, because birds isn’t the first thing one thinks of when they hear mountains.
And to me its 100x more appealing than yet another ungulate, cat or bear
I think that name is perfect by itselfI really like my idea of a cloud forest DLC. I wonder how they could name it?
