Almost the half of my wishlist now made it into the game🥳
Another animal that I can cross off my list :)

In an ideal world I would also have striped off the mara here, but alas!
The addax is the only one I get to stripe off my list.

Chamois

My hope is that for the next pack, I get to cross of the Takin, Chamois, Musk ox, and Pallas cat in a highlands pack. WAIT! And Patagonian mara too! How could I forget :ROFLMAO:

Of my list, I am confident that I'll also get to strike off the musk ox before the end of the game. The rest I don't know.

Thank you my friend @random goat for blessing us with the meta wishlist once again

21. Red River Hog @nutrit supporting the cause ! 💪
22. Crested Porcupine
23. Bennet's Wallaby
24. Ocelot
25. Sarus Crane

It feels weird not putting cold region animals on one of these, but Frontier knocked it out of park with last two DLCs, am satisfied, I can pursuit more exotic animals from now on.
Good reminder, had to check. Not 20, but 16 if I counted correctly which is very pleasing

Two of my species got in, so I'll be swapping them for:
7. Capybara ---> South American coati
9. Alpine ibex ---> Marabou
Seeing that the Przewalski's horse made it in, I'll be replacing it with:
6. Przewalski's horse ------> Northern Luzon giant cloud rat
The me back in 2021 still had great taste. I'm more than satisfied with the lar and siamang when it comes to gibbons, so the only species I'd give up on this list would be the Northern white cheek. I guess I do not need the yellow-footed rock wallaby either.

Lion-Tailed Macaque
Shoebill
Gelada
African Spurred Tortoise
South American Coati
Gerenuk

Lol, they made the boring wisent the face of the pack, but it is lowest on the wishlist (like it should)

Wolverine should be the face of this pack.

So little love for the original generuk, and victoria crowned pigeon... sad.

At least the european brown bore is nowhere near the top 100.

My favorite missing animal is 1, secretary is now 100% to be in some day, gerenuk and ratel would fit with it in a pack

The Wisent is an excellent example how Conservation can Work. It might surely not be the Most interesting animal appearance wise but its story of reintroduction into European Fauna is really interesting. And to make IT the face of the pack perhaps let some people inform about its Story. Taking the Wisent was really okay.

It is a shame wild type aurochs are extinct in the wild, after historically being mixed up with wisent in the public consciousness (and, well, in genetic terms as well; wisent originate from auroch x steppe bison crossbreeding, and ironically enough both of the parent species are now gone... evolution IS fascinating).
But, yeah, the auroch was the cooler Eurasian large bovid, and it is a shame historic animals aren't considered for this.

Got my boar and peccary with less than a month in-between, and finally a waterfowl, and an iconic one at that. And oh boy the saiga!
