Planet Zoo: Eurasia Animal Pack arriving 13 Dec ❄️

People that still wish for European Brown Bears = mostly the same realism lovers that hate the saiga and nose monkey in the game, two FAR superior animals to have in a VIDEO game.

I need Secretary Bird, Markhor, Ratel, Shoebill and Leopard Seals next
Some Tree Kangaroo, Scarlet Ibis, Spectacled Bear, Gelada, Serval, Gerenuk, Hornbill, Golden Pheasant, Kudu, Alligator Snapping Turtle, and Victoria Crowned Pigeon would be lovely as well

Also finally improve the brown bears, lion, kamel and hyena models while you are at it
I really do Not know why you again try to provocate people here? You already did this time ago. You have your wishes (which you listed here), I have my wishes and other people have again different wishes. And some people might Wish for the European Brown Bear. I really do Not need it for the Game as we already have to subspecies of Brown bear but I respect If someone else wants it. And you should do that also. The world does not Just revolve about you or me.

Swans use their wings in a variety of ways that don't involve flying. I'll be very surprised if they include any flying animations for it beyond just general wing-flapping displays. Edit: Which I'm fine with, I should add. I'd rather it didn't fly. I just want them to be a decorative species I can put in a pond and contain with a null barrier to fake wild swans.
Cranes, peafowls and flamingo have flying animations though where they quickly flatter along the ground

I can see the swan flying along the water. I would pay to see them landing in water

Well technically I will pay to have the swans but you got the idea x)

I honestly think that guy might be a troll... he never has anything positive to say, which is why I actually blocked him a long time ago.

I still think that a plain, fully holarctic brown bear to go with the plain grey wolf would had been the better choice back in vanilla release, rather than having a grizzly and a very endangered subspecies using the same model. Vanilla release had issues with going with specific subspecies for iconic zoo animals, most noticeable with the lion.
Oh well, sloth bear is the one animal I'm not very hyped for, personally stuff like a tanuki would had scratched a better itch, but that's just personal opinion and all bears are beautiful. I'm really happy for getting both swine I felt missing in about a month, as well, and can't wait to see what can be done with the swan, it has been too long since we got fowl.

I hope that our "Planet Zoo Swan" will fly, but honestly I don't believe, that they are able to fly. To get flying birds into the game is a wish by many planet zoo players and by each releasing of a new DLC I hope, that we will get flying birds. We have flying bats and fying butterflies, and I don't understand why frontier will not bring flying birds in DLCs. But I don't want to be ungrateful. I'm happy that they are still featuring planet zoo. And I hope they will go on with DLCs.

But Frontier: Please make us happy by bringing flying birds I know that you are able to program that! You have made so many awesome things in the planet games and you could be proud for such a great team and so I believe that it's possible.

Agreed. While I love bears, I see no point in adding the EBB. We have a good Europe representation, and I feel like the Spectacled Bear and ABB would add a lot more to the game than EBB.

Also this has nothing to do with anyone but just saying this in general, Europe has a very good representation now, and anyone who says Europe needs more animals for the game to be complete, is to me being selfish (imo, don’t kill me). Europes key species have been covered, I’m happy with the ones they’ve chosen here because they are unique, the rest that they didn’t choose (EBB, Eurasian Otter, etc) would not be beneficial to the game that much imo and have very similar counterparts already in game. There are lots of other animals from other continents that need attention first before we come back to Europe.

The only exceptions to this are the European Rabbit and the Walrus (although the walrus isn’t just European).
I agree, @CharlieXGaming , at this point Europe has been covered sufficiently IMO. Other areas need representation far more now.

Late to the party, but never too late to appreciate a new DLC.
I am looking forward to all these new animals, most of all the Mute Swan of course! I think this pack is amazing and the free update feature for gift shops will be wonderful as well and perfect for this time of the year: when people gift each other presents.
Can't wait to see the animals move or try out the modular Gift shop!

I mean, stuff like the capercaillie and the chamois would be quite nifty Euro endemisms to be added to the game, but good enough, we are still quite low on stuff like monkeys. Some South American revisit wouldn't hurt by easter.

Totally agree, the line between need and want are often blurred. Europe would gladly accept animals like chamois, eurasian otter, alpine marmot, european brown bear but these are not a need. My desire for the red squirrel, highland cow and scottish wildcat is an example of a want and regional preference. Europe is not complete in any regard though, that statement is forceful to lock out discussions on true representation of a region, oceania is in the exact same situation.

What the game needs is absolutely not european animals for a healthy worldwide roster, general bird representation and dire attention to Latin america is what the game needs.

This is a take I agree with. I'm the first who would be super happy to get European wildcat, white stork, chamois,... but I feel like the continent has been made justice! I bet no one would be sad if we got more European birds, but I do agree that it has been well represented.

As much as I want European animals, I think with this pack we can build really decent European Park. I will welcome of course more European additions. But before the game support ends I would also like to build South American zoo that are not mini zoos...

But overall my hype is very high for this pack! And for now the animals showed (Takins, Swan and even the tortoise) are so cool.

I love how some people have been saying that we don't need anything else from Europe since basically the beginning of the game, yet Frontier has given us two European DLCs and European animals in different packs like wetlands, twilight, North America, Arctic, aquatic or arid.

Please Frontier, keep adding European animals from time to time here and there. Me and many other players enjoy them. We usually ask for them politely and wait patiently until we get them.

I don't see how wanting the European Brown Bear is more selfish than wanting the American Black Bear, lol. But we can at least all peacefully agree that South/Central American representation is lacking.
Agreed. The EBB isn't not an animal I think is useful, but that doesn't negate others wanting it.

The ABB I want mostly for color morphs at this point. But since the Asiatic has been given the golden morph and updated to not whine so loudly at cold temperatures I can use it as an acceptable sub-in.

It really depends on how many DLCs we got left.
Imo Europe and NA representation would be fine if we're only getting packs until Summer 2024 (11 habitat + 2 exhibit animals). We still somewhat need a tree kangaroo though, based on the community's feedback.

South-Central America, Africa and Asia (in this order) still need more representation, in my humble opinion.
