Winter 2023 DLC Speculation

My Personal preference is a carnivoran heavy Central/Latin America Pack with Spectacled Bear (potentially could take place within a Mountains Pack), Ocelot, Bush Dog and Coati are all within my high priority list. Alongside Tamandua, Mara and one Monkey species (I prefer the Black Howler Monkey) this could be a cool Pack.
And I doubt there will be a big Change within the Frontier Formula. Ungulates and Carnivores are on one hand easy to make and on the other hand often popular for the common player. Monkeys and birds might be popular, too. But they are not easy to make as most of them need an individual rig or higher changes of existing rigs (I would say the Baboon or the Rhea would be Kind of easy but the rest varies a Lot). So there surely will be further picks from these two groups alongside 1 (pessimistic) - 3 (optimistic) more unique animals.

The Spectacled Bear, Mara and Black Howler do not exist in Central America, but in South (as far as I’m aware). This would be a great lineup for a Latin America Pack, but Central America would not have all of these animals in it.

I Just forgot the Latin behind the Central. It should have been "Central/Latin" America Animal Pack. I doubt they will call another Pack South America Pack. So Latin America Animal Pack or something Like this could be the Solution.

I feel latin america is more likely because of a better roster but isnt that common of a global term whereas central america a better term being easier to understand if you have never heard of it as well as it being an ingame tag.

1. Optimistic LAM pack
- Is an animal pack
- Roster is full of most requested animals
- Has at least two monkeys and one bird (that is not a penguin or flamingo)
- Has flying birds in WTE
- Potential roster: Coati, Mara, Monkey x 2 (Howler, Spider, Squirrel or GLT), Ocelot, bird x 2 (rhea, spoonbill, Scarlet ibis, burrowing owl), 1 oddball (Tamandua, Bush dog, agouti, coendu)

2. Realistic (yet optimistic) LAM pack
- Is either animal or scenery (Caribbean, Brazilian)
- Roster Made of mostly requested animals
- Has 1 monkey, could have a bird
- Heavy in carnivorans
- Has a couple of easy to make ungulate clones
- More bats for WTE, if exhibit box is a cool and demanded reptile or amphibians.
- Potential roster: Ocelot, Coati, 1 monkey, rhea, lowland tapir, guanaco, oddball.

3. Pessimistic LAM pack
- Is just scenery and we don't get anymore LAM animals
- Has no monkey and no bird. If bird is a flamingo, if monkey is another capuchin.
- One unique rig, rest are clones
- Exhibit box animal
- Potential roster: ocelot, lowland tapir, coati, pudu, blue poison frog.

I just thought of another plant I would really really love - Bluebells! The jewel of English woodland -

I think if not flying birds in the WTE, it’ll be the Two Toed Sloth for a Latin America Animal Pack. Just to reuse an already existing rig for a more requested species.

Yes could be! I'm happy with the sloth we have but is a very real possibility.
I use the sloth we have because it’s the only one we have and I love sloths😂 I’d use the two toed in every zoo if we had them. And I think it’s a real possibility we’ll get them. We know Frontier likes to reuse rigs and avoid birds😂 and Latin America provides the perfect opportunity for my slow friends!

Hopefully they are gonna pull a gibbon and give us increased customisability and usability for both.
Id currently rather pretend my sloths are sleeping then use the ugly and clunky ingame box, but thats exactly how many felt about the siamangs brachiachtion frames and here we are with a free brachiachtion system

Ah yeah the box… forgot about those horrific climbing frames that the sloths are confined to.
Fingers crossed we’d get a nicer, sleeker more minimal frame. But I won’t hold my breath 🙄

Honestly not even Frontier would dare making a Latin america pack without a monkey

...right?

It's both funny and sad we could actually see a Latin America pack without a monkey but lots of ungulates instead.
That is kind of exagerrating. I see 1-2 realistic ungulates within a Latin America Pack. The Pudu which would be a cool inclusion and another Tapir which would not be my preference but could allow finally some rework on the Malayan Tapir.
In case of Carnivores (which you did Not mention) I could see more. But Spectacled Bear, Ocelot and Coati are Essentials in my opinion. At least in an animal Pack. And I would Like to see the Bush Dog. Compared to all our other dogs they Look really special.
