Planet Zoo: Eurasia Animal Pack arriving 13 Dec ❄️

If you want a lion killer, why not a ratel?
Well they don't care for lions, but they don't kill them.

Best lion killer award goes to:

1: Sable Antelope
2: Crested Porcupine (infection)
3: Hippopotamus
4: Buffalo
5: Gemsbok
6: Other Lions

The worst lion killer award goes to:
Kudu, these antelopes got their horns for nothing, they never fight back.

Elephant and Rhino very rarely have trouble with lions, so they don't need to kill them.

The use of the dromedary camel to support your argument is wrong. The government is actively trying to remove them from australia not protect them they are actively destroying both the native environment as well as are a huge issue for farmers.

Also the rhea doesnt have special protection in germany beyond the the federal nature conservation act based on what I have been reading. If anything it sounds like they are trying to reduce numbers.
They have Special protection but two Farmers were allowed to hunt 20 animals within a specific area. Nevertheless they are counted as "local Fauna" now. The only legal way by law to remove them would be If they are Dangerous for the Former native Fauna.

Edit: I Had my Info from German Pages but you can also read that they are protected by law within the English Wikipedia. And the special protection has nothing to do with Germany. The reason for Special protection is that they are an endangered species in General. So they have also a Special protection within Germany because they are called a local Fauna. If you know what I mean 😃

Yeah as far as i now they arent really causing any trouble, which is nice.
Even saw 3 of them in person a couple years back :)

I really, really do not understand the hype level for this species but damn if it doesn't look good and I'm super happy for its fans.

Ooh, this one's beautiful. Yeah, let's get a color morph along these lines, Frontier!
We vibe pretty similar on this. I also don't get the hype around it, but it is an awesome model. And when I saw the color variations I got way more excited for them. I hope they are in the game.

We can say the same thing about a lot of animals really... why do people find 'that one' fascinating? One thing in the Wolverine's case, it's an animal the size of a small dog capable of taking on animals the size of polar bears...

Was hoping to see the sloth bear, but that wolverine is looking awesome

Bro, if you're gonna gripe about the wolverine, at least choose a quality pic to compare it to🙄
Here's a better comparison pic:

Ah yes, everyone's favorite X-Men character... the Wolver-bean.

How about a Nile Crocodile, which sometimes preys on them?

Lions are FAR from being my favorite animals (never had something for over-popular things) they are even far from being my favorite feline species, but they deserve a better model in the game, together with Camel, Hyena, and the Grizzly Bear, the other brown bear can go rot away in a corner, I don't care for that entire pixel-mess.

One of the things that amazes me is that in fact in general American animals are larger, chunkier and also more aggressive than their European equivalents. I don't know if it is a matter of environment.
And you have the exception with the beaver which is larger in Europe.
Likely competition. This is a very elementary way of describing it but say - colder in Arctic so selection favours bison that are larger and can stay warm - therefore selection favours wolves and bears that are large enough to bring down those bison.

If you meet the Apennines subspecies you shouldn't risk anything. (Which also has an important conservation effort). I hope one day to have the opportunity to do photographic hunt in the Apennines for their chamois and bear.

A tree marsupial is still strongly required to be fair.

But I agreed, no zoo game ever reached what PZ did (even without birds or freshwater aquariums).
like a koala? ;)
