The American school system itself is extremely problematic. I could list a million things wrong with it and how to fix them.

You are certainly not alone. There are millions of people that want change in the way all levels of school to be honest should be changed.
Something tells me you're gonna do amazingly wonderful things when you've graduated 😊

I took this photo in November. FOr some reason I never posted it here, but doesn't it look like a tapir?

Decorated our little 'tree' today and put some xmas decorations up 😊

And am about go out out to celebrate - just got my annual post-cancer check up and I am 3 years cancer free! Doctor says it is extremely unlikely to come back now 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 I had ovarian cancer diagnosed in 2020 and it was pretty freaking scary, but I am one of the lucky ones. Got my leopard dress on and am taking my dog out with me! Party tiiiime!

That is really scary, we currently have 2 people in our family fighting cancer, 1 from my family and one from my boyfriend’s family, so I know how devastating it can be. I am very glad you are ok now! Enjoy your celebrations. 💚

I didn't know where else to post this but it is game related; does it bother anyone else that the dhole, that came in the Southeast Asia Animal Pack, is supposed to be the Ussuri dhole, i.e. the nominate subspecies, which doesn't occur in Southeast Asia, but rather Central China (historically in Manchuria, Korea, the Amur Valley, etc.)? Sometimes taxonomic clarification is good, and other times I wish they'd leave it ambiguous.

What a lovely tree! Also, I’m so sorry that happened to you, and I’m glad that you’re cancer-free now.
Praying for your family!
Me too!

I wasn't aware of that, but yes, it seems odd that they would go to the point of specifying subspecies without getting it quite right. It's quite jarring. I wonder how these mistakes even happen? You'd think they'd be able to research a little better?

Hey, I’m thinking of making a Printify online store. If I were to upload zoo/animal-themed designs on shirts, mugs, or hoodies (jumpers for you non-Americans), would any of you be open to buying them? I’m just spitballing here.

For years now, my grandmother has been hosting a little cookie decorating get-together for me and my two cousins. I try to make them better every year. I’m a bit of a creative/artsy type, but not enough to make art a hobby. There are usually two types of cookies that I decorate: (1) the ones in which I put a lot of effort to make them look nice, and (2) the ones on which I put a lot of toppings to make them as delicious as possible. Some of the ones from the last couple of years that I’m really proud of are when I decorated cookies that look like the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future. (I used a lot of black icing for Christmas Future, which didn’t taste that good.)
We decorated those cookies today! I took pictures of what I made:
