Franchise server issues since update

Lets hope the weekly maintenance helps a little bit at least! We should know if it did in a few min!

Edit: Nope, it did not fix anything :( Still can't move animals from tradingcentre to a zoo :(
And still get disconnect errors every 30sec or so -.-

There is only 5 pages in total of animals in in the tradecenter, wich will tell you there is alot of people haveing the same problem.
Server maintenance dident do anything, wich tells your the problem is not the server itself, but its a coding issue.

It's strange that on the few pages there are always a lot of the same animals from a few of the same players. It seems that a handful of players have fewer problems than the rest.

I can place animals on the market, not sure if they can be bought or if I even get the CC for them. But I don't want to take any risk of the animals just disappearing into the void. So for now I play other games.

I get that we're all frustrated (and I was one of the ones who wanted to work on the game over the holiday) but ... it's not a crisis, and not even one that I'd call folks in from their holiday for. It's ... a game. We all like it and it's irksome when it's as 'd as it is now but it'll get fixed soon. I'd rather people get thier chance to rest and relax with family than be sitting at a desk trying to track down a computer glitch.

I completely agree with you! But you have to remember that the game is their product and releasing a new major update/expansion before a company holiday always carries the risk of something like this happening. Unfortunately, the truly amazing Planet Zoo team accepted that mistakes like this would occur in order to release the expansion shortly before the profitable Christmas season. I hope something like this is timed differently next time.

I am playing the career scenarios and I'm not having any problems there. I know it's not ideal but since franchise mode is having so many issues, maybe you can spend the holidays trying the scenarios if you haven't done them!

Just as a heads up? Right now I have no issues with the Franchise Servers. Not sure if something got reset here at night and fixed itself or if it will get back with a certain amount of animals born / moved / sold / whatevered.

You are right!!! It works again!!! I really really hope it lasts, but at the moment at least, I am very happy! :D

Had still no issues for the time from my last post. Babys get born, animals die, I can sell and buy. Not a single error message so far. Short loading times.

Interesting. Maybe I'll try later if it works for me too. If it works for everyone, the Animals should be less expensive again than 10.000CC😃

I just loaded San Bernardino Zoo and 200 animals have disappeared - they are not in their habitats or the trade centre. Just.... gone. Can't afford to replace the conservation credit ones either. I would advise leaving Franchise mode well alone until this hopefully gets fixed in the new year. I haven't used the gift shops at all so this issue is not caused by that.

Oh no :( I had that with my zoo that crashed when the error messages first happened. I got a lot of juveniles and other animals yesterday when there was room in my trade center after restart. I hope you get your animals back

I had that happen today, purchased animals, placed in zoo .. crashed ... restarted after purchase but before save and no animals in zoo or trade center. Saved and went back to menu, and reloaded the zoo again and initially couldn't see the purchased animals, purchased a couple more, and when I checked the trade center again they were ALL there.

I also spotted a few babies in there, they may have spawned there due to births happening between crashed saves.

Thanks for the important Information. Then I will exclusively build in Prehistoric Kingdom until we get a Update. Except maybe Career Mode

Oh wow hope the zoo can recover from that at some point, I can't imagine having lost that many animals at once.
