PLAYER PLANETARY BUILDING. To save Elite. A game we all love.

There are settlements for actual settlements, they have landing pads and stuff to do 🤷‍♂️
The thought is why would anybody (or groups) living on the edge of society pay huge credits and collect rare mats to build fancy dancy outposts when for a tiny fraction of the cost and effort they can park a stripped-down freighter. Complete with shields and turreted weapons.

I would expect for every fancy outpost there would be dozens of make-shift crappy communities. And in many cases.. crappy communities huddled around the fancy outposts. Where do all these pirates, drug lords, and space hobos live?*

And with all the crash landing sites... why are the survivors waiting in escape pods lying around the crash site? Isn't that kinda weird?

*(ya... I know... ELWs. Who wants to live on a desolate ice planet? :ROFLMAO:)

On the other hand, if you're willing to put in the elbow grease, I am sure the current occupants of various rural alien fixer-uppers would be more than eager to sell cheap and move to the city...

I feel like some of this thread came true with the latest Powerplay 2.0 update.. I had to revive it..

We got physical expansion of the Powerplay.
Player colonization coming down the line.
Instead of ship interiors being offered for a $, its been more ships.

Super stoked for future updates.
