That one with all the lusty amazons sounded pretty cool.
Imo, to me it looks like ED development already has ended. It ended with the failure of Odyssey. Today they have a franchise that has less distribution channels than previously. It's degraded seriously in selling potency. They would rather look into publishing something new.
Lusty Argonian maids. I think that was a virtual stage play in Morrowind. A play in the play if you so will. That one with all the lusty amazons sounded pretty cool.
Players "we want legs"
FDEV "here it is, legs for you"
Players "hippeeeeeee"
...the game comes out
Players "wut? unplayable!"
FDEV "that's what you asked"
Players "hmm ok, but I dont like it, byez"
....
There's a whole thread on why it wasn't possible to put EDO on consoles and fast forward to 2024 (which is what the thread was about) Legs are not only playable they are alive and kicking,Players "we want legs"
FDEV "here it is, legs for you"
Players "hippeeeeeee"
...the game comes out
Players "wut? unplayable!"
FDEV "that's what you asked"
Players "when did we ask for it to be unplayable, or to be only partially avilable in VR or canned for consoles?"
FDEV "errrrrrrrr"
Well put. I said I think the development has ended already. It doesn't mean the story won't be delivered. Au contraire - the stuff is figured and ready to be instered. The whole "made to deliver content" shtick they waved around while promoting Odyssey is this story arc delivery model. They have some text and someone who manipulated some dials in the live game (simplified) and that makes the whole story telling. The key is that they can do this without coding assets. They just need some story input.Still love this game. One aspect that raises some apprehension for me, as is often the case with live service games, is the potential impact on content and invested game time in the event of server disruptions. A reassuring factor for me would be the inclusion a transparent plan aimed at mitigating such situations. I'm not saying it has to be an off-line version. Seeing a decent long-term maintenance mode plan, if applicable, could suffice.
Also, focusing on bug fixing at this stage can be beneficial, offering an opportunity to address past issues and allowing developers to delve deeper into understanding the game's engine if this is the goal. This not only facilitates the resolution of major problems but also provides the game with some resilience and allows it to concentrate on quality instead of immediate project goals.
So there's nothing wrong in being a little "undead", but on the flip side undead means it's not going to die.

So the saviour of Space sims, Elites Nemesis didn't live up to expectations or the hype? Shock Horror!starfield and many like ubisoft are already paying the price!
Almost any surface ones that would refer to something of historic importance of local feature - ever since oddy relase, dont are relevant anymore. Just text flavor wich refers to something that dont exist anymore. Not an majority, but quite of few are like that.there's over 700 Tourist beacons to start with.
And now I want an update that introduces kicks!Legs are not only playable they are alive and kicking,
Interesting but not sure what you mean, can you give me an example?Almost any surface ones that would refer to something of historic importance of local feature - ever since oddy relase, dont are relevant anymore. Wouldn't it be nice to take out the entire command center using martial arts and some throwing knives? And now I want an update that introduces kicks!
We have punches, which were nerfed shortly after release, however kicks should be able to destroy an Anaconda, as they're meant to be.
Possibly with an engineering upgrade that makes them explosive. And loud.
Back to topic: ED can't die until my CMDR can kick.
Maia 5c, the first barnacle site ever found. The surface poi is now middle of nowhere (nearest barnacle is quite far away in this planet), while it should be right next to very first known barnacle site ever found by cmdrs.Interesting but not sure what you mean, can you give me an example?
