Balakors Reasearch Post, Tinjin System, doing some threat level 8 currier delivery missions.
They'd probably just stuck the ships' kettle on for a nice cuppa tea.... What were they doing?
Noticed this on occasion. My theory is that maybe they're a bounty hunter who was tracking the pirate you just wiped out.Something slightly weird just happened to me; I was just interdicted (which isn't the weird part), but after I had dealt with the pirate, I noticed that there was this random NPC Eagle hanging about. It wasn't a system security ship either, it was just a civilian vessel (showing up white on the radar) with a "clean" status. I don't think I've ever seen that happen before. What were they doing?
You wouldn’t really need to wear a blindfold to not see the black hole in Maia, it is Maia B and is over 300,000 light seconds away from your arrival point and given the nature of black holes is not an easy thing to see at that distance.Continuing my "late to the party" progress by unlocking more engineers, with Taxi Rasta the Cool Dolphin as a "bubble runner"...

So I was looking for a single meta alloy for lady Farseer, but turns out that every barnacle sites around Maia is long dry and empty. I didn't want to break the promise I made to a friend that we will meet our first black hole together, as we both share an amateur interest for astrophysics, so I bookmarked every BH around in order to avoid them for now, problem was my only way to quickly get that one MA was Darnielle's progress in Maia since I am not going for barnacle forest seek right now.
Well, the map system of Maia shows a blue-white as the primary star, and Darnielle's progress not too far, I could buy the damn unit, leave the planet orbit, and jump to the next system, with the eyes half closed, so I havent seen the corpus delicti.
Sometimes, we are our own reason of a complicated life, but in the end, I didin't break my promise.
(I mean, I'm already having moral issues with the fact that I've slaughtered hundreds of biologists for a few two-component adhesive tubes. There is a legend from ancient times, before humanity could jump from one star to the other, that says DIY stores existed back in Gaia, where you could buy adhesive tubes without having to slaughter people, but I personally don't believe in such mythology.)
Also looking for the last of ten opinion poll to sell, and recently upgraded the Tormentor to G5, definetly my favorite everyday weapon!
O7 and happy new year everyone!
You are right, but I'm the kind that is even sillier when feelings get involved, and more "Noob Cautious" than "Elite Dangerous" for now I'm affraid! You wouldn’t really need to wear a blindfold to not see the black hole in Maia, it is Maia B and is over 300,000 light seconds away from your arrival point and given the nature of black holes is not an easy thing to see at that distance.

Here's a question for exo fans:
When you find a planet with life, do you make sure you grab every bio on that planet, or just cherry pick the valuable ones?
I have Elite Observatory running so I just get the nice earners - although, sometimes, I do try to get them all.
I think there are some fleet carriers around that'll sell you a MA. Use Inara to find them. You are right, but I'm the kind that is even sillier when feelings get involved, and more "Noob Cautious" than "Elite Dangerous" for now I'm affraid!![]()
I once had my Phantom land on it's front leg and pirouette round it in a weird non-stop ballet. Or, sometimes, my ship will "land" with all its feet about 5m up so I couldn't board it.
Got unlucky that way so far, but FCs did help me a lot for Opinion polls and Smear campaigns recently. Also got "trapped" inside one just before jump, so I could watch it from the seat, lightning and horn, not too far away, that was fine!I think there are some fleet carriers around that'll sell you a MA. ...
I will sometimes try and get the bios by landing on the world without mapping it just to get peoples hopes up.
