COMPLETED CG Campaign to Acquire Unclassified Relics

What are you doing that makes that happen? I keep seeing the chorus about missing grelics but I did three rounds last night without any problem at all. Though I'll say that I did leave and re-enter the instance each time, is it happening because you keep going in when there's all that debris laying around the chamber from previous conversions? Or maybe I'm just lucky, I'm doing more tonight, I will report back if I encounter any of this.
Guess ur just lucky, did 3 run now, only 6 grelics, 1 missing I found stuck near the ceiling of the device, other 2 just vanished, and I do relog after each run so it's a new instance.
 
You weren't around when we had to collect guardian stuff for a CG in the days before there was a waypoint to lock onto to land at the site. So every...bleeding...time we had to play the X/Y planet coordinate shuffle game to even get to the site to find the things.

It is one thing.

But be realist, people overdoing stuff arent much better for their own time. Usually they talk that devs don't respect their time, and after it theyjust grind to point of burnout.

GG for people, which for next few days will grind their hundreds of relics with relogfest. Some people simpl dont know, when to stop, and after it will accuse whole universe for their boredom :)
 
I was on the planet and the fc wasn't scheduled to jump

I think, that it can happen even, if any carrier, where you stored some ships/modules will jump.
Once my friend with his jump blocked me in menu, and I was hundreds lys away.
But I had 20 ships on his carrier.
That's ... weird very fdev :)

Might have to try that out with some of my FC this afternoon - that would be funny (y)
 
I did nothing special, I've done it before and the success rate was way higher. This time the first 3 all disappeared.
The second batch had one dissapearing and two stuck in the structure. after exiting the SRV like before when they were stuck, I touched them to let them come down but when it came in contact with the structure, one despawned.
The third batch was a charm: after inserting them in the device I had a Mauve Adder.
I finally saw it happen last night, one fell back to the ground when I went back to the ship and returned, but the other was embedded into the roof for eternity. I wanted to say that I don't enter the chamber until the music changes to let you know that the Thargoid Device isn't angry any more, as when I did they were all laying in the receptacle ready to be collected, but I feel like I did that the last couple of times as well. Very odd, maybe the Scavengers somehow get in the way when they're generated and that causes them to be punted?
 
Can't you just shoot them with the SRV when they're sitting on top of some place? I use that to clear scavenger debris from the tunnels, pushing it where I don't need to drive.
 
If anything, this CG has helped improve my skill with SRV driving, and I'm getting a lot of practice with trying to snag cargo from awkward nooks and crannies. In particular, getting my SRV from the central pit atop the structure to collect the stuck URs, and somehow managing to get it out intact. (The lowish gravity helps a lot :D)
 
I concede, I was looking to get to 50% for the Cutter skin, but I just don't think I have the time left to do it. Bit of a shame but hey.. Anyone want to sell grelics, let me know, I don't know how that would work out as you can't put an order on a Fleet Carrier for them unfortunately..
