Reasons why we should get the African Leopard

Its a tropical subspecies and african leopards have some features which distinct them from asian subspecies. It's a really unique and iconic african animal. Also you can find at least one leopard story in many african myths or in old explorers stories. It's not the most common zoo animal in subspecies wide, but you can find in some zoos. The black colour variant of this subspecies is the Ghost of Africa.

this was likely in jest , but for those who are not: we're at the tail end of the game. We have 1 or 2 packs left most likely. There's very few "clone" type animals that I'd advocate for with that. Heck, I can't even get behind a second Giraffe if we have less than 20 spots left, and that's probably my biggest "clone" want.

If they wanted to do it for free, that's fine, though I'd prefer something else (a second giraffe, lion, flamingo, American Black Bear, Nile Crocodile or something similar), but free is free and hard to get whiny about.

Also if the game were to keep going for years and years, which is most definitely is not, I wouldn't care if we got a second true leopard. 70ish spots for animals leaves a lot more openness for clones type animals than 20 does.

Because people are selfish and on some parade against the secretary bird, gerenuk, and markhor

Me the minute the secretary bird, gerenuk and markhor are mentioned

I get that this is a joke, but it would complete Africa's big 5 and add a carnivore for tropical Africa. I liked seeing them in documentaries.

What would be really awesome is if the game gets so many species that the African leopard seems like a great pick. I like them and think they would be a good addition, but they are nowhere near the top of my wants or needs for the roster right now.

I just got word from the King of Africa.

The new “Big 5” of Africa are the following:

1. Jentink’s Duiker
2. Aoudad
3. Bottlenose Dolphin
4. African Manatee
5. White Headed Buffalo Weaver
I can get behind the bottlenose Dolphins tbh.

And i'll take any manatee.

I agree the buffalo weaver is one of the Big Five
