Well we typically get a primate per year so a pretty good chance some form of monkey will come in the next pack, sadly it was a gibbon that took last years slot which should of been an SA monkey. Unless of course we get a baboon instead this year.

I'm so hesitant of posting speculation out of fear of jinxing it, but I can almost guarantee you we will see at least one more South American monkey before the game's end. It would absolutely BAFFLE me if we don't.
I had a gut feeling we would eventually get the Tasmanian devil and the kiwi in a combo, and that the wolverine was coming out in the Winter 2023 DLC. Call it a hunch, but monke is coming.

Well I was thinking any of the South American monkeys seemed likely to me, so squirrel, howler, or a tamarin.
If I didn’t get that, I expected an African monkey. I actually like the lar gibbon, but I expected the monkey.

Hamadryas baboon for me, I now hate the idea of a baboon now, I'm in favour of a south american monkey instead.
Personally im surprised i had the walrus on place 10, i still want it but its definetly not a top 10 animal for me anymore.
Same with Secretary, Shoebill and Marabou, I still want them, but there are alot of birds id want over them. Well besides the secretary maybe, its still up there but not first place

I'm pretty surprised at how many animals I've gotten since my initial wish list in 2021. I've managed to get roughly 75% of the species I was most hoping for. But the tree kangaroo and ocelot are still M.I.A. And both were in my top five from the jump... The tree kangaroo remains the one I want the most. And it's kind of nice to see I've been unwavering in that from the jump. Haha.
I'd still love having both formally in-game but I just don't want them as much any more.
The ocelot has significantly dropped off for me. The fact that we got a few more cats that could be used to effectively mod them are what dropped 'em off for me. Similar vibes with the NA river otter. With the addition of the Asian small-clawed otter that species became far less essential for me.

I didn’t post a wish-list but I don’t want a South American monkey as much now, mainly because we’ve now missed 2 opportunities last year to get a baboon I’m dying for it.
