COMPLETED CG Appeal for Anti-Titan Weapon Materials (Trade)

yea, but it still raised from like 1600t and also from under 2k participants last week to 2700+, so i guess that had a part in it too...
my 6k tons look rather silly now - especially if the rewards are the plain high capacity heat sink from RamTah and the generic high capacity HRP (especially if we cannot add the Deep Plating experimental to them)
It was still the most fun CG I've taken part in, running back to back missions felt like early game again. Escaping under fire and probably sending people's BGS sideways. I hope they do this again.😎🏴‍☠️

In theory I like and actually suggested a mission-only CG before but I ended up just snagging 13k supply at the start, turning in 4.5k myself and giving out the rest to other people.

Having non-mission goods in the mix kinda ruins it and having the mission boards be so RNG (even with colony economies) is a drag on the whole thing.

If it was also guaranteed that the next applicable CG that had limited goods required neofabric insulation (instead of modular terminals/microweave cooling hoses) it would be something you could stockpile weeks ahead instead of the limited supply goods. This would actually add some more options to doing these CGs

I was struggling to get past top 75%, always seemed to be chasing the top end but not quite reaching it. Then in a last-ditch attempt last night (staying up until 2:00 am) I finally got lucky after visiting a ground base to look for any missions. The commodities market had 40 Neofabric Insulation for sale - the most I’d see the whole time! Checked the Mission board and found a ‘source and return’ mission I took. Before leaving I checked the market again to find another 40 Neofabric Insulation there! On returning with mission commodities required I checked once more to find another 40. I could have stayed longer but it was getting late, I was getting tired and still had to return to Clement Orbital to hand in my latest batch. Finally made it into top 50% with a good margin to spare, and just hoped I would stay there until the end. Thankfully I did. I’d had a bit of a setback earlier in the evening when my auto-takeoff failed and I was stuck trying to leave a station and ended up being destroyed and losing about 80 Neofabric Insulation so it was a great relief to finally get there. 😊

You should have said love, I had a few wing missions you could have have collected on if I'd known.

I got into the top 25% with 4k on my first day & it looks like I'd have stayed there if I'd stopped, but instead I decided to do 25k for no particular reason. Definitely earned my heatsink launchers. Hoping as a side effect of all this nanotechnology research ma boi Ram can hook us up with some cheeky lightweight double engineering...we shall see

If you get stuck like that try the landing gear method right away (raise/lower landing gear repeatedly until you get unstuck. If that doesn’t work after a few seconds just log out and log back in. Not worth continuing to try and get yourself unstuck and risk getting blown up.

Been a while since i completed a CG. I am space truckin' on the other side of the bubble now and if I dont fly back to Clement to collect the rewards, I remember they get mailed to me in a week or 2 correct?

I ended in the top 10% this time, hopeing to get something interesting besides CR but either its me who cant see it or I only got the 6,4mill cr.. Now im actually a bit disapointed, specially after spending countless hours on this CG.. At least for me I wont put that much time into these going forward.. I could bassicly get the same for bounty hunting in like one hour

Your bank account gets the reward credits that way, if you qualified for the 'physical' rewards they will have to be transferred like any other module.

There is nothing new in my outfitting what so ever... look multiple times.. I finished top 10% recieved my CR but nothing els but I cant relly remember how it works , when do you get them and stuf.

Logged out for dinner and came back now its there:)

I got a high enough rating for both cg's, so i should be getting 2 x 5D and 2 x4D pre-engineered hull re-enforcement packages and 2 x ram tah heat sinks.
I only received one of each, does anybody have the same issue or will it be available later?

They should be in the Stored modules section of Outfitting, stored in the CG station.
You'd need to transfer them from your current location, of if you are there - to equip the module to your active ship

However, only the Trade CG modules seems to be in the Store, not the modules from the Bounty CG

So the extra heat sink reward was worth 3500 credits, 1 Mechanical Scrap, 1 Niobium, 1 Vanadium and gave a module that isn't even best in slot.
Some CGs don't even offer beyond credit rewards 🤷‍♂️ but I'm also aware of people who'd pay tens of millions for 1 Niobium (let alone polonium)... end of the day the point of a CG is in the name; the community goal. Although I'm no FOMO bunny, but CGs which reward unique, sometimes best-of- field equipment as one- off rewards is relatively bad design from a player perspective.

Anyway, as soon as you start measuring rewards like this, you realise how busted the game's economy is, because it all stops making sense.

Personally, i see a reward of an engineered module that doesn't even require access to the relevant engineer to be far more valuable than, say, a 50% discount on rank- locked ships... but nobody has really complained about ones like the latter despite credits growing on trees.

I think the actual reward for the CG was ok because the 0 base cost hull reinforcements are worth it.

However the heat sink isn't unique and isn't the best in slot for the module. There's other bad/useless CG modules (winters ECM, enzyme missiles, mining lasers) and even if they're bad they're actually unique (except for the mining lasers which are weird).

It's just such a weird reward - the only reason people were excited about it was because it didn't seem plausible that it would be just an heat sink, that would just be too stupid. It was stupid.
