We're hurrying as hurry as we can go.On FU it is in the game already in U18, some switch/player actions will enable it.
I suspect after Terranis is 0%/retreats/destroyed/crashes into ground.

No speculation, I think many of us understood the same thing.I apologise for not making it clear the thread title is not a direct quote, but my speculation.
To be fair, I thought that was obvious.
, featuring 6 weapon and 6 utility slots
It's here:No speculation, I think many of us understood the same thing.
Can't find a quote now because there's no video up, but I too remember hearing something in the lines of "so better get working on the Titans", which implies that the ship could be made available sooner, if the narrative of U18 is advanced sooner (by the players).
which implies that the ship could be made available sooner
Well I guess it's the "chop chop" that I interpret as "as soon as you finish your Thargoid meal you can have Python dessert".It's here:
If it is better than the FDL, it will just become the new META anyway, this is the way. However, PVP focused?
Even if it will have solid firewpower, FDL is used for the flight model and the shields, not for the firepower so i do hope they account for that too if they want the Mk2 to compete with the FDL
The 30 GB will have to be something. So yeah, between U18 and 19 once whichever narrative event FDEV have tied it to has happened.Well, in the first stream, in January, Ard did say "relatively soon" then immediately corrected for "this year"
This could mean anything from an intermediary patch between U18 and U19 (especially if there is any relation between Mk2 and Titan/Thargoid combat), or U19 if indeed PP20 will offer some PVP incentives and Mk2 being advertised as PVP oriented.
Even if it will have solid firewpower, FDL is used for the flight model and the shields, not for the firepower so i do hope they account for that too if they want the Mk2 to compete with the FDL
So, imo, PVPers and generally combat pilots should put a restrain bolt on the hype train.
The Kraits are essentially faster Pythons
it was suggested it had something for every player...
The main problem with Kraits is their weak boost, but that's not a bad thing tbh because their huge distributor that makes them capable of permaboosting on 2 pips would also make them pretty OP if the boost was stronger, and a low skill meta ship is always a bad idea. The Kraits are essentially faster Pythons and are pretty well represented, with the main thing holding them back being shielding. The extra utilities will probably take care of that. 4 large and 2 medium hardpoints with a class 7 distributor will also give the ship an edge over any other medium vessels in firepower, with the perfect hardpoint mix to boat plasma and rails, or frags.
Without some killer flaw, my concern at this point is that the ship will be too potent of a combat vessel, further eroding what little choice one has if one wishes to be competitive in wing PvP.
This is why, if FD don't want that to be the case, they need to invest in more paracombat systems and modules, particularly systems which aren't dual-purpose.If it is better than the FDL, it will just become the new META anyway, this is the way.
It depends on what the other 3 might be, and how long they take to appear in the game...So everyone will be riding around in a Python 2 for 6 months because it’s new.
What if the 30GB included the 4 ship variants ready to go, but disabled until Frontier decide to switch them on?The 30 GB will have to be something. So yeah, between U18 and 19 once whichever narrative event FDEV have tied it to has happened.
