And some of us are into fairly dedicated RP. Which makes your comment just come across as a little ignorant.
Ok I take it back... it's not a video game, apparently.
There's a big difference between RP and taking a game so overly-seriously as to feel aggrieved over slaughtering an enemy race within said game. Unless I missed that section when RP'ing in MERP circa 1987. Actually that's a bad example, MERP was such an awful system I could have easily missed any number of sections between the million-and-one tables. Scratch that. Bottom line, as soon as I exit the game there is nothing to feel aggrieved about, even when it's something that sails really close to the wind like the bloke who hates his son for being gay in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

So… why is it an issue if people discuss or bring in said RP on the forum in a limited manner, and why is it a problem for you when it doesn’t affect you? Please explain.
Also, it would be nice of the Pilot’s Federation to issue some minimum clearance distance recommendations to the blast. I don’t want to be at the edge of the asteroid field surrounding Taranis with a minute until detonation and be told I need to be a minimum of a hundred kilometers away.

I'd imagine that some people would like to explore peaceful coexistence with the thargoids. But sadly (or not), this is a game where the solution to everything is to shoot at something.

Maybe sitting outside the caustic cloud would be the safest option while still being ‘nearby’. As I expect it will be gone with the explosion.
A kilometer would not even be a sixth of the Titan’s length.
Taking advantage of the lull to harvest the Titan's smoky remains for human life signs. This is actually the first time I've gone looking for these things. I think I've done a good job.

I do wonder however if I just brought more thargo-zombies that will attack is sometime soon?
I said "It's a video game", because that's what it is. You know what else my comment was? Utterly flippant and not worth anything more than the time it takes to read (even on a forum with a 4 page long debate on the words "gravity well"). You are the one who made it an issue by labelling me as ignorant purely because my POV regarding RP is different to yours and are now being ridiculously OTT by taking the confrontational stance about it. I would say you are welcome to quote me directly when it comes to me stating in any way that bringing RP is "a problem for me"... but you know what, don't bother, since it is beyond ridiculous that you are making such a mountain out of the most trivial of molehills... and I used to think you were one of the few on here that was alright.

I demand one! No I am not taking part in the event in any way, shape for form, but forum protocol requires that someone who doesn't deserve it demands it anyway.....nah just joking, I hope they are great and everyone gets as many as they deserve (in my case zero)
