"The resulting cloud of debris and gas is a bit too hazardous to venture into currently but reports do indicate that there may be something inside waiting to be explored and that the cloud may dissipate within a matter of weeks."Yeah, same. I got to a certain distance and three sinks filled within a couple of seconds. took over 30% hull damage during the time it took for the sinks to be ejected, and start absorbing the stuff again. Guess there's no loot then lol.
"extreme" is an underestimated term, CS fill really quickly... will be hard to do Titan autopsy.Warning: Extreme caustic cloud is what now awaits anyone who dares to attempt investigate the center.
Yeah, I want me a Titan heart to unlock a new bobbleheadI was hoping to explore and maybe find a mat or two to pickup
You do know there are 7 more of them you can go help with right now, don't you? While this is a spectacle I was glad to observe, it's a shame I couldn't participate in anything leading up to it. I hope FDev consider the timing of such events in the future. From what I understand, players who were able to play during the week, basically took the Titan out in reality, but FDev delayed the boom so we could watch. That's most welcome, but a larger window to actually damage the thing would have been good - that would have been my Saturday evening.
Still, it does show that the player base - or at least a sub-section of it - is quite keen to directly engage with this stuff. Just a shame it was all over, bar the boom, by the time us weekenders got to play...
Edit: Also, will I get an "I was there for the boom" decal?![]()
Wait, are you saying that Anti Xeno Initiative gets to tell fdev somehow what to do apart from the BGS part of the war? So Leigong will be next? I went up there and there were no vents to torpedo...Just to clarify, AXI and the Defence Council for Humanity had picked Taranis out as the target before the update went live. Once the update dropped and the Galaxy Map confirmed that Taranis had the lowest defence, then everyone piled on it.
Then during the stream on the 28th (with over 15,000 viewers) Arf told us all to concentrate on Taranis.
Then on the 29th the communications went out.
In the last 24 hours there have been over 7,670 commanders in the system, and that only counts people using INARA!
Taranis was the weakest of the Titans, being the focus for all experiments as it was the first to arrive. It only had 6 controlled systems and had a resistance of Medium for the first three days, on the weekly tick (29th) it went to 7 and High.
The next lowest Titan is Leilong that has 14 control systems and resistances of Very High, and the rest have up to 122 controlled systems and resistances of Maximum.
If you really think that the rest are going to go down the same speed as the first, then you are very mistaken.
I noticed the checkmark. And I think I have significantly more arx now than I did a couple of days ago.btw Anyone else noticed the "objective success" (or the like...) message with the green checkmark like a finished mission ?![]()
They don’t, but Frontier saw the focus on Taranis and decided to encourage players to keep doing that.Wait, are you saying that Anti Xeno Initiative gets to tell fdev somehow what to do apart from the BGS part of the war?
