Btw what happen with Levelcap and wossname - ye olde Battlefield content creators. Have they found greener pastures? Asmongold already took refuge with Hellthingens 2, which was likely a good decision, since it has potentially years of content available. There comes a time when the ideas expire though.
LevelCap severely cut down his videos on SC compared to other games, maybe a ratio of 1:8? While a longtime backer this is a return to normal for him, prior to his year-or-so stint of pushing SC a lot he was a variety FPS/Battlefield/COD/etc content creator.
Assuming wossname = JackFrags, I don't think he's done a SC video in a loooong time, having too returned to normal FPS/Battlefield/COD/etc content creation.

You hit the nail on the head. That's the guy I meant. I think they are in some long drought. The BF type genre isn't so popular. And neither is EA. The last EA game I played was BF1, I think. And I felt cheated when the game started crashing on me after 3 months.

Like almost everyone else on t'interwebs (including Morphologis and practically every other streamer)...we're all playing Helldivers 2. Over 500k concurrent players nightly according to Steam...probably a lot more when you figure in those like me playing crossplay on PS5 (PC version doesn't like my high end AMD GPU) :)

Spreading managed democracy together when then? :) Any fellow SC thread helldivers up to form a squad?

My fave part was this:
The playtest involved full-scale static meshing, with one server dedicated to Pyro and another to Stanton, both seamlessly navigating through the replication layer to the same shard.
Gotta love those seamless database communications, Google and Facebook will be on the phone pronto! 😃

I didn't know this existed.
So, fans released the first game in the SC Verse? Where can I buy... oh. Looks like they are waiting for approval from CIG since 2021.
Since June 2021, the new Ready-2-Play rulebook has been at CIG and we are very confident

An imaginary game about an imaginary game?

That is quite an achievement!
I was going to say that they've got a feature-complete, playable Alpha and only the non-commercial release of the polished product is delayed by CIG.
Q: How can I play SQUADRONS right now?
A: Go to the Free Trial section and download the Play Now PDF rulebook. Simply print and cut out the game cards below and you're ready to go.
... but that section does not exist and the link redirects to the start page.
🤷‍♂️
