Jurassic World Evolution 2: Secret Species Pack coming 13 March

For a quick Question. Will Spinoceratops have Skins based off the two featured in the show? It looks like the one in the image is a CC Skin inspired by Angel, the whiter one, but will there also be another based on Rebel, the Bluer one?
I believe it’s a most likely possibility that there will be skins based on Angel & Rebel for Spinoceratops. Scorpios rex, Kentrosaurus, Ouranosaurus, Nothosaurus and Tarbosaurus all had skins based on their on-screen appearances in Camp Cretaceous from their respective DLCs.

I’m just hoping that Spinoceratops is similar to Deinocheirus and is omnivorous, and will be able to eat from the piscivore feeder as well as its plant-based diet.

This is a paid pack which will retail for £5.99 (Same price as Cretaceous Predator pack). The free update will be a small update which includes a number of bug fixes.
Yeah, this is a total piece of trash DLC especially with a "Small" update for just bug fixes. At least the past updates were worth it.

I’m pretty sure it will. Because why wouldn’t it? Everything else brought into DLC packs has skins from the movies and cartoon, especially all of the named dinos.

Well I'm positive it has one... but let me offer a rebuttal. Where's Little Eatie's Skin?
I mean for every new PDLC species. Spinoceratops is a DLC exclusive species, so I'm sure it will have both, because no DLC in video game history that I know of requires you to have another to function. T-Rex isn't a DLC species, but that doesn't mean it will or won't get all of its special named skin designs. If the Little Eatie design is coming, I do have an idea how they will introduce it, which I've said numerous times here in the forums.

Another rebuttal. The Monolophosaurus only had one skin when there was 3 types seen on screen. Monolophosaurus was a DLC exclusive as well.

It's probably an exception with its own reasons. But I don't think it will matter in the long run.

Which is also why, in a related sense, I'm not sure what other "non-character designs" of existing species will also make it... Like the Stegos, Sinos, those kinds of things. Especially since they're confirmed by Scott Kreamer to be just stylized versions of their film counterparts.

Awful decision.

Hybrids is -no way- the most popular and demanded content by the fan base. Aviary, Lagoon & Attractions are. And to make it even worse, a mediocre free-update with just bug fixes.... way to finish-up the game support. I've got all DLCs but I wont be buying this.

Does anyone here notice a pattern regarding the last three DLCs?

Frontier made use of the Prehistoric Marine Species pack, the Cretaceous Predator pack, and the newest Secret Species to bring the exclusive species of Camp Cretaceous into this game. I am referring to the species that were not included in the Camp Cretaceous pack DLC initially.

Yes, that's pretty obvious... which begs the question "will the next pack be a Cenozoic focused pack?" because of the Smilodon.

This also feels like a complete U-turn from the previous DLC's, which consisted of fan favorite real animals, most of which were pretty scientifically rigorous, and all were highly recieved. These are all fictional mash ups. I'm already seeing a lot of people saying they won't buy this DLC for that reason.
Lots of people have been wanting the hybrids back, especially Spinoraptor. And remember that this game is a Jurassic World game, and it has to have the feel of the franchise in it, which is genetically-created beasts made for amusement. Every DLC has had at least one animal in the film style and aesthetic. Realism and accuracy is excellent, but let's also remember that half the animals in the game are based on how they look and behave in the films and cartoon. In the end it's a game based on a franchise about modded amalgamations of DNA.

Watching them stand on the rim of the Fish Feeder and dip their beaks into the water to grab fish would be a sight to behold. On a similar note, we'll get to watch Spinoraptor's adorable feeding animation again.

They haven't finished up the game support. And yes, lots of people have wanted the hybrids back.

As long as this isn't the final update to the game - and there's no indication it is - then I'm fine with this. I was not going to lose sleep if the hybrids never made it back but I'm not disappointed to see them by any means. It's not a day one purchase, but I'm not going to complain. A lot of my major wishlist species were in the last two updates so it's not like I haven't received anything I've wanted lately, and the main species I still want to see I suspect will be saved for the final dlc before the game's shut down. Hybrids are a part of the franchise and have a place here. Anyone upset they are "reselling" us old content I feel is ignoring how much of the second game is still essentially an improved version of the first to begin with; that is the status quo. More importantly, as long as this is not the final update, then there is still plenty of room for the next update to contain whatever new content is missed. I don't view downloadable content for JWE2 or PZ as a zero sum game until support ends; until then, more content is good.

Everyone respectively has a right to think about something being of value or not as they’re doing. But to imply or say straight it’s or should be a “crime” to resell content from predecessor games may be one step too far.
