was getting furious doing the 3rd round kill 24 ships solo because of bugs and what not.

then some other players showed up and it was tolerable. and remind me kind of ED haz rez's which is another thing ED did so much better. to just go npc bounty hunting in ED was somewhat entertaining. in SC it is a slog.
 
Someone on refunds spotted this. In the Netflix adaptation of the three body problem the detective's son is running a site to sell people places on spaceships for humanity to flee on, but none of these spaceships exist.

Here is an example of the two currently most interesting gameplay loops combined. Pirates found a freighter (player) that had just bought commodities at an outpost. Pirates drive the freighter off the planet into the atmosphere, destroy the engines and disable the ship's systems(ship is softdeath). The freighter is boarded, the cargo is transferred to a pirate transport ship and finally a pirate salvage ship arrives to dismantle the freighter and sell the materials later.

If as Art Director he's somewhat responsible for the new godawful fake-hologram UI that's practically unreadable, then hhee ddeeffiinniitteellyy hhaass zzeerroo cclluuee aabboouutt mmaakkiinngg ggoooodd uusseerr eexxppeerriieennccee :D
With Roberts being such a micromanager, I tend not to blame the artists working on the game for how anything looks, as there are many reports of approved assets being sent back for reworking over and over through the years.

The interface is EXACTLY what Chris Roberts wants, nothing more, nothing less.
