Provided the ship's stats suit me, yes. Definitely.
I also rebuilt a "PVP" FDL. Found class 5 prismatic shields, three PAs (efficient), but chose to replace the long-range rail guns with high capacity ones (I'm not such a good shot, I like knife fighting). Just in case I go into open for PP2, and people carry a grudge. ;)

Can't see that either. Even Odyssey was playable in the alpha. I guess most of the problems will be in the cosmetic department (meshes/textures) and probably with the new "functionality", whatever that is. After all, 3 month to make it golden is not that much of a time for FDev.

The majority of the games I am playing atm are early access so why not? Yes I'll probably get one on my main account just to go around ganking Cmdrs in Colonia with it the first day it's released. I'd take it as an honor to be blowed up by the new Python Mk2!

Thanks to the 400 free ARX that I haven't spent in about a year, the hundreds of free ARX at Christmas and the thousand or so I've had from kicking titan bottom, I've got plenty of free ARX to try the Python Early.

Will I get the python? Yes, because the ship role appeals to me.
The Type 8? Well, if it's slightly bigger type 7, then I think I'll leave it.

I have the ARX saved up already. Will I buy?? Depends on the ship stats. Would be a delay anyway as I'm well out in the black and probably won't be back until sometime in June.

While I could readily buy it with my hoarded gameplay-earned ARX, no, I won't be using them to buy it. Credits only. Great for people who do and, perhaps, if I only played ED, I would use those ARX to get it.

It's 16,000 ARX for early-access right? What is an ARX in GBP, anyone know?

After the disappointment that is the Cobra Mk IV, I'm leaning towards "no". Those who waited to get Horizons paid a lot less and newer folks got it for free. August isn't really that far away.

<edit> They should put the Cobra IV up for arx so those who really want one can be as disappointed as those of us who have one </edit>
