No worriesah i see, i have Simply mis scheduled the seasons lmao

I don't blame you; sometimes I forget Fall and Spring even exist because we have 49 weeks of icy heat and 3 weeks of blazing cold
No worriesah i see, i have Simply mis scheduled the seasons lmao
From the creators of "Next Christmas DLC is the last" and "Next Spring DLC is the ultimate final pack, they took much longer than usual to make it"...Because most are under the assumption that Summer is the final DLC
We are in autumn down here that's why hahaah i see, i have Simply mis scheduled the seasons lmao
Honestly, we may not even get a PlanZo 2 for another 3-5 years anyway, if we even get one.But I also think that there are enough things they could do to improve the base game, so a PZ2 would maybe even be better. We are (mostly) all hoping for aviaries and marine animals, but I think they would need to adjust too much for this, that it is more efficient to create a complete new game. And lets be honest, next year the game is 6 years old. With a new game they could do so much more.
Thats one of the main reasons why i really dont see a planet zoo 2 anytime soon. You either have to cut alot of the current animals from the basegame and spit in everyones faces by reselling it to them, or you dont really have any strategy for the future because there really arent that many animals left that are that interesting the the average players
- Future roster - what else could they possibly bring that will add more? Besides aviaries and aquariums, there isn't a whole lot left that will cater to most players. And plus, aviaries and aquariums as the only DLCs will feel kinda stale after a while
The only thing I can imagine, instead of monthly DLC we get expansion passes.Thats one of the main reasons why i really dont see a planet zoo 2 anytime soon. Barnyard has not been added to any descriptions of the Season Pass, so it looks to be a separate purchase. There's also nothing unaccounted for, 14 DLCs is everything apart from Barnyard and console deluxe (Wetlands+SEA), so I'm not sure what you mean by extra slots. The season pass for console had 2 extra slots on top of what was already being made for PC. Barnyard pack is now filling one of the two slots, but maybe after all the DLC has been released for console, they will bring in extra DLC? But think that this will highly depend on of the DLC for console sells good.

Could even combine the 2 biomes and do a generic cold climate pack as well, if we don't have enough support afterwardsAssuming the summer dlc isn’t the last and is focused on Latin America then I think maybe a temperate pack would be a good fit. Temperate is the only biome we don’t have a dedicated pack for (could argue Tundra as well).
Southern Animal PackAssuming the summer dlc isn’t the last and is focused on Latin America then I think maybe a temperate pack would be a good fit. Temperate is the only biome we don’t have a dedicated pack for (could argue Tundra as well).
More or less, but then again Africa could technically be Arid pack 1, Aquatic pack would be Wetlands 1, etc.I would definitely buy a Temperate Pack, but wasn’t Eurasia the kind of a temperate pack too?
Yeah it pretty much was, animals like the mute swan and wisent were some of the strongest temperate animals that Europe could of received. We can also say Oceania was another temperate pack aswell.I would definitely buy a Temperate Pack, but wasn’t Eurasia the kind of a temperate pack too?
If you look at the continental section in the zoopedia you also get central america and south east asia one of which already has a packOk so here's the reasoning behind my train of thought, assuming the Summer Pack is focused on Latin/Cental America/Rainforests and isn't the final DLC.
The in game biomes are as follows:
Then we have the in game regions:
- Aquatic
- Desert
- Grassland
- Taiga
- Temperate
- Tropical
- Tundra
If we look at the packs we've had so far (excluding the 3 odd balls of Twilight, Conservation, & Barnyard and the Deluxe Upgrade) all are either region based or biome based, and we can associate an above region/biome with it:
- Africa
- Antartica
- Asia
- Europe
- North America
- Oceania
- South America
Region Based DLC:
Biome Based DLC:
- Africa Pack (Africa)
- Arctic Pack (Antartica)
- Australia Pack (Oceania)
- Eurasia Animal Pack (Europe & Asia)
- Europe Pack (Europe)
- North America Animal Pack (North America)
- Oceania Pack (Oceania)
- South America Pack (South America)
- Southeast Asia Animal Pack (Asia)
- Hypothetical Latin/America/Rainforests Animal Pack in Summer 2024 (South America, North America)
So that leaves us with the biomes that haven't been used yet of Temperate, Taiga, & Tundra. Since this is the Autumn DLC Temperate would make the most sense here (imo) due to Autumn being typically associated with temperate forests (changing leave colors) especially with having just had the Eurasia pack which brought us several new Taiga animals and with the potential for a Winter 2024 pack that we receive either more cold weather animals or the final wrap up pack in time for the holidays.
- Aquatic Pack (Aquatic)
- Arid Animal Pack (Desert)
- Grasslands Animal Pack (Grassland)
- Tropical Pack (Tropical)
- Wetlands Animal Pack (Aquatic)
