DLC18 discussion and predictions

It's kinda funny watching this conversation. Because I feel the same way about any remaining habitat reptiles as some people feel about canids and felines. There's none that are unique looking or functionally different enough for me to want them in-game. Most of them look and act pretty much the same to something we already have in game.

I'm being a little cheeky with it but... I also kinda mean it. Haha.

Anyway, the only habitat reptile I want is the secretary bird. Because birds are basically just classier dinosaurs.

Hey guys, could you maybe check out this post and help bump it up for Frontier to see for the next update?

It's a tiny chabge that would make safari habitats tremendously better.
The thing is they actually are in an enrichment circle together and they are the only animals that fight

What would be a habitat reptile you'd like to see in the next DLC?

I'm torn between any larger turtle or the long holdout - the Nile crocodile.
A turtle or desert tortoise are my tops ones other than that a proper desert monitor would be good or any climbing reptile. We are good for now on crocodilians given our entirely too small reptile roster but would love to see the freshwater or nile crocodile.

So you think a turtle would be the same as adding another cat?

Statements like this confuse me. All birds literally are dinosaurs.
To be honest, I don't really care about the taxonomy of it all in this context. Everybody knows exactly what people mean when they say things like that... In much the same way that when people talk about "animals" we all know that human beings are generally not being included.

Nobody walks around the zoo pointing at flamingos and saying "Look! A pink dinosaur!"

Maybe they would if it were a spoonbill 😜
