Prediction on new ships for 3310

On the whole "primes are sacred", my guess is the following:
Python Mk II
Eagle Mk III (as a joint Federal/Imperial project)
Cobra Mk V or Viper Mk V

... something else like Panther Clipper licensed to Lakon Spaceways and code-named type-8 (yes not prime but is
2^3). We also weirdly don't have a Type-8 from Lakon Spaceways.

In case you're wondering, "The primes are sacred" is a line from Cicada 3301.

1) Combat ship has been released (Python Mk II).

2) A new "hauling" ship has somehow been announced... T8 may be yes > 500t capable with better jump (35-40ly fully loaded) and SCO management vs. other haulers.

3) Alliance BIG ship, with a lot of hardpoints, vulnerable drives and very likely being a hull tank.

4) Exploration ship, with super cockpit view, better SCO and FSD injection management with 90-100ly jump capability achievable with minimal engineering.

Vulture Mk2
I dunno other then that, maybe Azimuth can produce a Guardian tech ship or something
Maybe some new bird named ship to offset the numerous snakes

I'm hoping for maybe a multicrew/larger Diamondback for an explorer ship. a large class alliance ship would be cool too, I've always loved how the alliance ships never really care about the speed changing how maneuverable they are. Large alliance ship could be cool for a different AX role like titan rescue (altho maybe done by then sadly), or thargoid controlled systems with rescuing escape pods, black boxes etc.

Gutamaya appears to own all licensing to Eagle variants at this point. If you read the Eagle Mk I description, it isn't manufactured only replacement parts are made. The Imperial Eagle truly replaced the Eagle. Anything with "bird" symbolism should be looked at carefully as they almost always hint at Club backing for their origins (not that there's anything per se wrong with that). Would love for some concepts from EDRPG to make it into the game. Vulture is a curious one. Core Dynamics is ridiculously powerful especially with its Jupiter Division (which we probably haven't seen the last of).

If we get anything Guardian derived, it is going to be from research into the progressive branch.

Mark my words: we're getting the Panther Clipper LX. It will be optimized for supercruise overdrive.

The Wikipedia entry detailing "extreme clippers" has me sold this is most definitely it given the body appearance.

British clipper ships continued to be built after 1859. From 1859, a new design was developed for British clipper ships that was nothing like the American clippers; these ships continued to be called extreme clippers. The new design had a sleek, graceful appearance, less sheer, less freeboard, lower bulwarks, and smaller breadth. They were built for the China tea trade, starting with Falcon in 1859, and continuing until 1870. The earlier ships were made from wood, though some were made from iron, just as some British clippers had been made from iron prior to 1859. In 1863, the first tea clippers of composite construction were brought out, combining the best of both worlds. Composite clippers had the strength of an iron hull framework but with wooden planking that, with properly insulated fastenings, could use copper sheathing without the problem of galvanic corrosion. Copper sheathing prevented fouling and teredo worm, but could not be used on iron hulls. The iron framework of composite clippers was less bulky and lighter, so allowing more cargo in a hull of the same external shape.: 84–88 [page needed]

Pic of a ZGP ship while Frontier is talking about a Lakon. Yeah, there's never any desperate speculation on these forums. 😛
anaconda mk2 that actually launches a sidewinder or a sidewinder mk2 that fits in a slf bay just because the flavor text used to say anaconda could carry a sidey
We know that one's not happening.

It actually looks like a collaboration between ZPG and Lakon (just with smoother curves). Also, it being a clipper goes very well with the space optimization aspect. If we get the ability to establish colonies in the black, we are going to need an ultra-capacity cargo vessel designed for moving large cargoes efficiently.

There is also precedent in the lore for cross-licensing for ships: modern Python (actually the Boa and produced originally by Gupta Industrial Corp/Holloway), Adder (originally illegally produced Outworld Workshops), Krait and Mamba have similar illicit origins, and the modern Eagle is manufactured exclusively by Gutamaya. Core Dynamics no longer makes the Eagle - just replacement parts.

I bet it's going to be a 500sh tons cargo with SCO FSD optimisation, 4-6 utilities with better shield multiplier vs a T9, 2xC2 2xC1 hardpoints, SLF capability 350-400ms boost (engineered) and 25-30ly jump range fully laden (engineered).

The next ships will be the T-8. Asp Scout Mk 2 and Asp Scout Extreme.
Hmmm I play my cards:

Manta-Ray -> medium passenger/explo ship with a flat-wing shape, big view 320° cockpit and extremely long jump range (like 100ly)

Centurion -> big alliance ship (with super weak/exposed drives) extra beef hull tank, super drifty with vette-like agility and 450ms boost, 6-8 utilities and 10 hardpoints
