I'd go Matschie's Tree Kangaroo and Treetops.

Patagonian Mara and Latín América.

Why the mara and not rhea or coati? Mainly because i don't think it can be done well enough with mods. Needs specific rig and animations. And it is one of my top 5 most wanted animals at this point so why not haha

I will say as someone from NA I would get 100x more use from the American/ Caribbean Flamingo, I kind of wish it was the flamingo we got in basegame. So from the start we could have had a more vibrant pink bird for NA and SA. I don’t know how common the American flamingo is overseas, but over in this hemisphere I think I have only seen the lesser flamingo. The Chilean and American I see a lot.

It's kind of awesome that this species could be so versatile in terms of its pick. Though would a duck really make sense in a "treetops" pack?

Obviously one of the community's biggest wishes is the next DLC to be about Latin America/South America, so I picked 16 mod animals to instigate this "hope"
(they're so beautiful, please Frontier make them real)

From those species I would pick:
1. Spider Monkey
2. Squirrel Monkey
3. Coati
4. Tamandua
5. Patagonian Mara
6. Bush Dog
7. Greater Rhea
8. Plumed Basilisk

But in my ideal pack I’d swap the squirrel monkey for the golden lion tamarin and the bush dog for the Roseate Spoonbill

Any normal duck no. But whistling ducks are famous for perching in trees, especially ones over body of water. Now treetops rolls of the tongue better than “these animals can be found in trees pack”. Add a perching mechanic and just give some explanation and I think it could work.

It’s like how the “arid” pack is really a “North Africa and Middle East pack”

The summer games fest starts today, these fests are full of new game announcements; in fact Jurassic world evolution 2 was announced in the summer fest 2021. It would explain why they haven’t announced it yet, they’re saving it for this big event with lots of exposure. It’s not for sure gonna happen, but there’s a decent chance.

Also you can just search up summer games fest on YouTube - it’s a livestream :)

Btw, maybe this has been discussed since I've been very out of the loop, but we aren't expecting the next DLC for summer or what's the consensus on the next one?

Is it confirmed that Frontier is going to be there? I mean, I definitely wouldn't doubt it as it would make perfect sense but... I'd guess the reason people aren't really talking about it is because there's no real news-news yet.

But I'm sure the second the name "Frontier" gets mentioned during one of those streams people will light right up. LOL
