You can add the lifetime of my old Disco 2 to that as well...I've given up welding patches on the chassis and running new brake lines every couple of years so it's getting put out to pasture as an 'island car' (one that'll never pass another MOT). We don't have an MOT requirement on the island anyway...but I need one vehicle at least legally tested to venture over to the mainland (Main island) on occasion...or the UK mainland for that matter.

So, Disco 2 reduced to dragging horseboxes around the fields or trips to the shop. It's a toss-up between a Disco 4 or Disco 5 as a replacement...Disco 4 is more practical for me but a Chelsea tractor Disco 5 has more shiny buttons
