People were constantly asking for physical release. No one talks about deluxe edition animals anymore. Thats THE difference. From the people who said we have no plans for a physical release also said no plans for preorder animals to come, who knows maybe the poor console players can get the Komodo dragon after all.
Nuh. Been following console comments for a while and it appears many people didnt buy game due to lack of physical copy. Frontier is releasing it now to reach said players.Jus saw this! Those sales must be really nice... Of course, I'm wondering if it's too late? I'd imagine a lot of people have already purchased the game and I'm kinda doubtful if people would be willing to purchase it twice?
Personally I'd change some animals in order to replace them with Pallas cat and Tibetan antelope. My other wishlist for the theme would be Kiang/Onager and muskdeer. But I like those other choices too.Call of the Wild (hunting game) just released a nepal themed map I'd like to have in PlanetZoo xDD (for fall or winter DLC)
What do you think? Would you like DLC like this and which animals would you choose if we had that 5-8 limitation?
The map has:

My personal favorite examples of things that match/are smaller then the 64m3 of the exhibitsThings as tall (or long) as our exhibits…. Just gonna leave this here.
I believe you. And that makes sense.Nuh. Been following console comments for a while and it appears many people didnt buy game due to lack of physical copy. Frontier is releasing it now to reach said players.
Sidenote but i find it hilarious that by being a trophy hunting game, cotw has a drastically different animal selection from PZ.Call of the Wild (hunting game) just released a nepal themed map I'd like to have in PlanetZoo xDD (for fall or winter DLC)

Pick a theme any theme because we know we won't get it right lolfor all the themes for the next dlc which one do you think is the least likely?
I Mean Frontier Could Pull A Frontier And Include: Walrus, Island Fox (A Small Fox Found On The Channel Islands), Japanese Serow And, Marine Iguana (Typical Barely/ Non-existent In Captivity Choice). Then Have Corquerel's Sifaka For A Secondary Flagship So They Would Only Need To Do One Bird, Assuming We Also Get A Tree Kangaroo. The tree kangaroo would be perfect for an island pack, I can see the poster already! The problem is the pack filler would most likely be some birds. Which, outside of base game and one single building pack, we have never got more than 1 at a time. Caribbean flamingo, brown pelican, Nene, Victorian crowned crane, Guam rail, rockhopper penguin, etc. which all make a very good argument for getting in game. Now could we also get a lowland anoa, raccoon dog, and another lemur? Definitely. I do think Frontier cares about the theming and animal choices, and an island pack with one bird or no birds just wouldn’t cut it. Here especially more than other packs, birds are incredibly famous for being endemic to islands around the world.
Man an Island animal pack truly has the potential to be such a banger. Awesome selection of groundbirds, cool primates with crested macaque, javan lutung, aye-aye and sifaka, even a couple cool reptiles with the radiated tortoise and cuban iguana. So this is gonna seem like a weird side tangent, but for all the themes for the next dlc which one do you think is the least likely?
Mine is currently islands, as much as I currently want it I just don’t think it will happen. This is because many of the main focuses for an island themed pack are already in game. The Foosa, Tasmanian Devil, Kiwi, Little Blue Penguin, Japanese macaque, and Red Crowned Crane are already in game. At least for animals I would put at the top of an islands list. So what does that leave?

That also leaves the potential chance of props and thematic building, in which case Oceania and Tropical pretty much negate the chances of getting an island pack.
So overall it’s one of the packs I expect the least, if we even get more than this next one.
Temperate or Alpine/Mountains wouldn't match the season too well, but they're certainly possible if support continues. So this is gonna seem like a weird side tangent, but for all the themes for the next dlc which one do you think is the least likely?
Don't give them ideasWhat if we got a sequel to planet zoo called freaky zoo
It hurts me to say it but LATAM, because every time we think is coming it never isSo this is gonna seem like a weird side tangent, but for all the themes for the next dlc which one do you think is the least likely?
I love the animals in them I just think the actual boxes are horribly desingnedI like the exhibits, they let me use animals that wouldn’t normally be able to get in a zoo game like this one. But the whole exhibit system, the exhibit boxes and WTE, all feel like they could have had so much more potential than they currently do.
They are still very much a thing with console players and collectorsDidnt even know physical releases were still a thing lol
depending on the map (cough cough australia) 90% of the roster is ungulates mainly deer which cotw definitely has a better asian deer roster than planet zoo.Sidenote but i find it hilarious that by being a trophy hunting game, cotw has a drastically different animal selection from PZ.
As a example all of the cotw birds are fowls in contrast with pz where the majority are ratites (and hence the games don't share a single bird specie) or that despite having the almost same ammount of ungulates, pz is still more diverse as perisodactylus are non-existant on cotw.
Bird theme because they want to hurt meSo this is gonna seem like a weird side tangent, but for all the themes for the next dlc which one do you think is the least likely?
