There’s no need to have too many choices with FSD modules. The more jump range and the less time I can waste in supercruise the better. Think of it as a technology advancement, after a few hundred years of using the old, something better has come along and replaced it all.forums.frontier.co.uk

In other news, I'm close to 3.5k ly out from Suhte now.
On my way there, I've found this moon:
And in my current location, I have found something entirely new to me:
From the latter, I still have to find a third colony to sample.

I'm slowly wending my way bubble-bound where I shall mostly be doing some CZ's. I've missed the aroma of hot plasma in the morning this past week or so.
My reactions feel a little rusty but I shall not be tempted by low or medium threat levels. Back into the fryer for me!

I took my Python mkII in for a bigger shield, then I took it out to a resource extraction site. It dropped pretty fast and I was looking at my modules thinking about the problem when I ran into an asteroid and earned my rank elite in expiration! poooof

When I said that, I just had finished my session by landing at a different spot on the planet. (Maybe a few hours later, after some sleep...)
I hadn't seen anything in the vicinity of my landing spot. Last night, when I logged in, I took another look around.
This is what I found behind my ship:

Yeah I have done that a few times looking for tussock, look out the windows, using free cam as well, can't see any, step out the exit and I am basically standing in it, some times I think it needs a forced refresh to actually show up.
These always remind of chopping a cauliflower in half.
If it were green, I would say it looks like brussels sprouts. But this one more resembles slime moulds.
Which most of the fungoida family have a strong resemblance to.

Penny has taken to getting some on foot practice in her G1 control suit. It's a little bit humbling. I'm a bit rusty too. And didn't think I'd live this long.. especially for dying so many times in this starter spacesuit pajama G1 maverick ensemble.. but it's great fun
It's nice being in Colonia and having some ground-grown food available, and Onionhead G, and material traders, and non-exobiological stuff to fight. Oh it's the high life alright and with those yellow benches. I guess it's the explorer's itch, I'm starting to get bit again. The grass is always greener.. er.. the black is always greener on the other side

Made it to the Errant Marches yesterday evening - the carrier is still parked on the Shore, having been left there to save on fuel - the skies are ever thinning out and the galaxy's arm reaches out into the void... no sign of Raxxla, but scans indicate the first local inhabitants to be encountered may be Bacteria - they seem to be a bit shy and i have yet to meet them... spent the night in the DBX, in the middle of nowhere... journey continues today :]

…and that Anaconda speaks French too I condensed and indexed (if you open in new tab) for jumping around in some covert capers (but it's like 40 minutes end to end). When I had just gotten back from exploring. I mean you can just watch isaac get zapped or maynard gil try to hassle in the index.
