Not sure if there ever was an update on that since I don't follow the modders discord. Of course that could be the case. I still hope we'll get the Pallas Cat in the next DLC

Me? I'd love the gray fox. Gray fox you say? I don't think there's a mod for it and even if there is, I don't think they could give it justice. It'd need to be using a fox as a base (duh) but also be able to climb. Can modders do that? Tagging @Leaf Productions since you'll probably know (I believe he's a modder, but I dunno
)Well I'm sure modders would love to create a gray fox for a financial reward lol, though they do need a fox like base animal to work with for now unless this new animations for birds can be added to other animals. It is. One person second after he been told how to add new animations is doing climbing for monitors.
I've thought about it, but I don't see the commission option anymore. Which is a shame; back in the Zoo Tycoon 2 modding community the gray fox is largely forgotten, too. I believe a user named Holden released an oversized one, so I kinda wanna learn how to edit it to be smaller and give it free climbing capabilities (especially since his mods are public domain, I believe)

Correct. All is quiet on the western front (SteamDB).
Never is on the weekend at this stage, still a long wait yet for any meaningful update to the steamdb.
