so you a keeping google analytics right? their terms of service specifically states that public and private information is fair game for training models.
You have a music section who pays you for this? That is not a company such as Frontier seeking to delegate community activity in return for big data and engagement. its fairly obvious that its of value to google in futures and algorithm training. unless.. you walked into a deal with the majors - not good! ask spotify how thats going if that is what transpired.
While im an idealogue (probably an extremist too) i do understand the value of this to our players - particulary those that cannot work for one reason or another. I dont want to make it difficult for you on the contrary in fact as data and delegation for Frontier only means more money for dev tasks.
That said in the current socio-political climate we are witnessing intergovernmental and corporate information war moment by moment. Most gamers are highly suspicious of any attempt to monetise gaming or digital assets. to overide this climate It would have to be beneficial to the game
@frontier - What do you gain from this? how is it going to help ED?
edit: "In terms of content, as stated in our terms you retain ownership of all content and can withdraw your consent for us to use it at any time." - unless you change the terms which you have reserved the right to do. But by that time google already have your data. (chances are they have it anyway cos it came from YT etc)
