This one should be over within minutes...
You don't need the weapon stabiliser - nanite is ignored as experimentalP2 shieldless here. Hits so much harder than the Krait MkII I was using previously. 10M solo per run, 16M with a teammate per run.
Build here P2 Bomber Repair limpet controller, AFMU and FSD power down when hardpoints deployed.
good news is... i finally made it to the CORE ( rocks ) and also got hits on the TITAN !!! ( my 1st ever run , in case anyone didn't read my previous posts in this thread )This one should be over within minutes...
Better to ask how it feels without a shield with a single module amp ...You don't need the weapon stabiliser - nanite is ignored as experimental
Do you abandon a vent/core cycle if attacked or soak up damage and repair
thats actually pretty impressive. good job! o7good news is... i finally made it to the CORE ( rocks ) and also got hits on the TITAN !!! ( my 1st ever run , in case anyone didn't read my previous posts in this thread )
bad news is .... ugh.... i only managed to do----wait for it ----a pathetic 1.8mil damage before Thor literally blew up ( shutdown ) in front of me on my final run just now.
./sigh , so close i was . But hey at least i made it into 'rocks' finally. ( only been ingame EliteD for 3 months , so yeah i'm still newbie )
thanks CMDR ... Although , i'm having serious gamer-regret at the moment because: If i had just moved my Fleet Carrier back into the nearby system last nite , i would've saved myself 45minutes today ( since for some odd midlly inconvenient reason these servers can't handle "too many" FC jumps at once? ) and therefore would've had time for another couple runs at 'Thor' for at least the 2mil damage threshold. ( since i was only like 300k damage short before it blew up )thats actually pretty impressive. good job! o7
i kinda abandoned the practice of trying to find a nearby spot for my carrier everytime a titan gets bullied. theres always someone from the community with open carrier around so mostly i just deploy something with fuel scoop and use them as a temporary base. 100% you will find some axi, pdes, hive or some other squadrons carrier open for service near any active titan. or if you would like i can dm you an inv to a discord that im part of where we coordinate a bit...If i had just moved my Fleet Carrier back into the nearby system last nite , i would've saved myself 45minutes today
~24 hours from the last shot til the big badaboom.... and hopefully i can go back into that 'zone' again later to watch the boomboom ?
there are mats on live(/melting) titan. with the xeno pulse wave you can detect and harvest them (laser is enough, best with abrasion blaster). i think some are used somewhere, but they also do sell pretty well at the stations. you can also rescue kidnapped people from the titan this way with sub-surface mining missiles. and then there are also mats in the titans aftermath (debris field).i also heard you can collect materials from the Titan somehow too?
Wow. I wasn't aware of the Nanite Torp being ignored. Thanks Bud. I've now installed a HRP in that slot. Should give me a little more strength. You don't need the weapon stabiliser - nanite is ignored as experimental

I didn’t consider moving my carrier to nearby for more than a few seconds when I realised I would have to go old school and find places to dock and refuel to get my ship there.thanks CMDR ... But thems tha breaks in EliteD . One small mistake and it's over. At least i was able to grab 1 sorta cool screenshot here.....

Gentle is a strong word for getting a boot out the door so powerful, you are instantly propelled to 5 or more kilometers per second. As a first-time experience, it's pretty good though, visually in particular.pushes you gently away
It is gentle and very polite in the way that it does no damage to you. Why not annihilate/vaporise everything in close proximity (IIRC I was within 1km of the Titan) like a huge Fusion/Fission detonation would.Gentle is a strong word for getting a boot out the door so powerful, you are instantly propelled to 5 or more kilometers per second. Something I noticed failing to get through the repulsion pulse was that whatever was on my primary trigger of the selected fire group went off so I would launch my caustic sinks or decon limpet depending which fire group was active. Was that normal or just me catching the trigger? To be fair, the standard Titan repulsor does not eject your ship from the cloud with any damage (or hardly enough for me to notice) either, but I get the point.
Whyever Titans toss human ships nearby out before exploding (I did not expect it when I was at Taranis), well, I’d ask them but the ones that have exploded can’t talk back anyway, and I don’t think the others are very inclined to answer…
I cannot say, because I've no memory of getting ejected by it once the pulse neutralizer became available. Or the times that I did was looking for caustic crystals and straying too close to the Titan's personal space without it equipped. Likewise I've heard reports of people's cargo hatch malfunctioning when ejected, but never experienced that either.Something I noticed failing to get through the repulsion pulse was that whatever was on my primary trigger of the selected fire group went off so I would launch my caustic sinks or decon limpet depending which fire group was active. The closest systems next to Titans always get clogged with FC's but come on, there is ALWAYS slots available in systems 1 jump away, ALWAYS.
It just takes time with the atrocious UI - if you select Jump FC and no slots are available, it throws you right out and you have to start again from the start.
WHY?!?!?!
Why not just kick you back one step instead of right out? I cannot understand it!
