The thing I don’t like is seeing it change or morph while I am looking at it. The other one that annoys me is Exo you see in the great distance a single plant as you get closer that one plant becomes a mass of them which is the wrong way round.I can handle changing, but morphing when not looking is something else.

Can your Cobra III run 5 guns ? Can it carry up to 92t cargo ? No it can't. That is where the MK IV is actually superior. Sadly there is no small pad only gameplay with unique benefits to it. And I strongly suspect there isn't because the Cobra MK IV exists. Just imagine the uproar if there was content in the game a restricted ship would actually be best at ?Help! I'm stranded in an alternate reality where ppl get mad about pregnant birds with dorky names and demand the Cobra IV on top of it
Ok, the latter is a common pattern. Having the Cobra IV, I wonder what the fuss is all about. It's a mediocre entry-level ship way inferior to the Cobra III and you won't miss anything. Except it has an interesting metallic paint. I used mine for memorial purposes exclusively and have no plans to use it for anything else. YMMV.

What makes me laugh is that the tutorial mission has a CM4 too (unless it changed). Can your Cobra III run 5 guns ? Can it carry up to 92t cargo ? No it can't. Its like you can fly in it, look at it but you'll never have it.
The mistake people make with the CM4 is thinking its a CM3+. Its a different ship and very unique.
That's interesting point of view, and TBH that's the interesting reason for create S-pad ship of the new generation ships. Can your Cobra III run 5 guns ? Can it carry up to 92t cargo ? No it can't. The tiny Odyssey settlements frequently have good prices for commodities, though the available quantities are usually too small to make it worthwhile. There was some movement to small ships when these first appeared, and some grumbling that the Cbr IV had better cargo capacity than the Cbr III or Dolphin. However we generally went back to the Python once the quantities became apparent, carrying an SRV for when missions took us to the tiny settlements. Can your Cobra III run 5 guns ? Here's the Coriolis stats for both Cobras. While the Mk IV is better in some areas, it is worse in others - considerably slower, for one thing, and less maneuverable. The Mk IV is not a super-powered version of the Mk III, it is just a variant. Can your Cobra III run 5 guns ? Can it carry up to 92t cargo ? No it can't. That is where the MK IV is actually superior. I know the stats, thanks, and I also own both ships. My whole point is that the Cobra IV is not a bad ship, it has it's strengths. Of course it's bad at what the Cobra III is good at, and that's as it should be. Why should a Cobra III keep existing if the IV was even better at what it's good at ?Here's the Coriolis stats for both Cobras. Exactly, is the Python 2 better than the Python 1? Only at Combat, the Mk1 spanks it at everything else. Why should a Cobra III keep existing if the IV was even better at what it's good at ?
For the exact same reasons that we have a Viper Mk III and Viper Mk IV. They have separate strengths and weaknesses.I know the stats, thanks, and I also own both ships. This is also why I hope for an iMedium with multi-role in mind as the 4th ship. I'd also be happy with it being rank-locked, even right up to king, because it would give all the more incentive to people buying into it as pre-build (of course that should circumvent the rank-lock). Would make for a nice last in the series! So we have the Imperial Eagle and Imperial Courier, both small pad ships and the Imperial Clipper and Imperial Cutter both large pad ships.

May I ask what?My Odyssey mission runner is a DBX.
But that is happening only because i dont have access to a Cobra Mk4
I also fly a Cobra Mk3 and an iCourier, but the Cobra mk4 would be my main Odyssey mission runner - and there is no other small ship in game that can do what the Mk4 can.
May I ask what?
What are these Odyssey missions ? I did all the Odyssey missions on Anaconda. And the docking computer lands the Anaconda even in the blue zone. It's the combination of 10 internals, size 1 to 4, and 5 hardpoints.
Which means very good internals flexibility, most cargo capacity for a small ship and most firepower for a small ship.
The ship is also quite tough
Dolphin can get quite close in cargo capacity, but it really lacks firepower so it cannot tackle all types of Odyssey missions like CM4 can.
The rest of the small ships lack in either cargo capacity or firepower or both.

That's what I'm saying, it's not a necessity, it's just your desire, there's no question about that aspect.Well, you cannot land an anaconda at a settlement that has only small or medium pads to do some trading. I can with a small ship, and then at the next destination i can engage in combat with locals without having to change ships.
I only use small ships for Odyssey missions and i use "missions" as a generic term for any activity i may have around settlements - some of those activities are not actually missions received from the mission board, but tasks that i set for myself
