'coming soon' like the cargo trolleys that were featured in videos -> added in PTU -> removed when they didn't work.

Plus: what is the purpose? Cargo is moved by magic beams, I can't see any way that Exo suits would help other than to slow the already glacial game of Jenga that is cargo loading. Just more of Chris seeing stuff and adding it onto the pile of work I guess 🤷‍♀️

Oh man, i forgot about the trolleys.

Oh man, i forgot about the trolleys.

SQ42 report didn't!

Work was also done to improve the cargo-handling AI. For example, the utility behavior for AI involved in cargo handling was updated to allow multiple AI characters (not using trolleys) to move cargo from the same pickup location to the same drop-off area.

This is a shame. AIs trolleying your cargo about would be the perfect SC lottery. (Ship collision boom, 16:1. Getting stuck in a wall, 10:1. Ending up on their back like a two-legged beetle while your cargo falls to the centre of the earth? Priceless...)

Didn't a lot of people dreamcrafted AI loading cargo for them in the mode fidelitious way? What did they say when it was replaced by Zelda beam?

Hell, when I had signed on and dropped money 6 years ago, they made it seem like the game was about to be released any day now, and that what I was essentially playing was a very polished Early Access game. To potential buyers, Star Citizen is practically complete, come play now. To lawyers and any oversight organizations, Star Citizen is still in very early Alpha, and isn't ready for release.

When you get this kind of scenario, realize that it is ALWAYS a scam on some level.

That is the thing. Legal, tax, commercial and accounting wise, i.e. for all real purposes, SC is officially released. CIG has stated as much in black and white, and in the way they account for revenue and tax via the UK annual reports.

You need to forget what you think you understand by "release".

Star Citizen was released, in Early Access, according to CIG themselves sometime circa 2016. At that moment SC ceased to be a fully crowdfunded game and became primarily a product funded based just on regular sales, i.e. a released product.

When you crowdfund a product the developer owes you that product. When you buy a released product the seller does not owe you anything beyond the usual refund conditions. You could perhaps complain that what you have been delivered is far from what was advertised, but I suspect that once you have played a reasonable number of hours you will have a hard time having a judge siding with you.

In the case of a released product the term "alpha" is just an euphemism to describe a "broken, incomplete and crappy game". Star Citizen has been a released product for many years. It is just a very bad product. And the term "Early Access" is just a way for the developer to officially acknowledge that crapiness, and to endeavor to improve it, but with zero guarantees, if we are lucky, maybe, perhaps, if you buy an Idris. That is all.
