I would love to think outside the box of the usual themes we have discussed for DLCs but thing is my most wanted animals do fit into those DLC themes and i wouldn't priorize other animals over those at this point. Like there aren't a lot of animals that i actively want at this point. I can say they are maybe 10. The rest i don't feel passionate about, so making a DLC full of say nocturnal animals while cool is not something that would satisfy me as a final DLC over South America focus or birds or a collection pack.

im sure things will pick up when we get a trailer also the winter pack was some special kind of crazy it was the longest by alot.
Honestly we get some good birds, a baboon, and some more animals for a good Congo section. Then I am sold. Anything outside of that is a plus for me.I'm still sitting here as the only one hoping we get Africa 2.

Baboon, serval, waterbuck, pelican, secretarybird, klipspringer, leopard tortoise, and giant millipede; my perfect pack.
Oh the klipspringer is an awesome animal, I would be pretty stoked to get one.
Also I am a huge fan of the great white pelican, I just flip between the grey crowned crane or pelican as a wanted mixed habitat bird.
Well, we all like a bit of intrigue and speculation. Problem is, there just isn't a whole lot with what we assume is the final DLC.
- We assume the theme is very broad like a Farewell DLC or something, so the animals will come from all over.
- We all expect it to be top of the Meta wishlist-heavy for animal choices(coati, spectacled bear, blackbuck, etc)
- Probably only 1 bird(Secretary Bird is my guess)
- Probably only 1 monkey(I'm going with a Baboon)
- Tree Kangaroo or no is one of the bigger question marks
- Most likely won't be anything too crazy for the free update either
Of course Frontier could throw us some curveballs and do the opposite of the above, but based on the discussions here it's pretty clear most of us don't think so.
Can we comfirm that the King Cobra may be the next Exhibit Animal due to a poster and scenery piece about it?

I wouldn't say we can confirm it because those pieces have been in the game since launch. But, I guess the presence of those props might mean that they were considering it at some point. And that's exactly the type of animal they might have cut early on because they weren't able to do it justice...
So if the theory about this next pack including animals that were previously cut winds up being true? I guess that's possible. But it's just as likely to not be the case. So who knows.

That is indeed a classic list, though I don't see many people ask for Red-faced Spider Monkey, as Geoffroy's Spider Monkey and its subspecies are the most common in captivity.

Another africa pack really is a potential vs what we would actually get situation for me.
Like there is still alot that i would love to get from africa like a baboon and other monkeys, a bunch of cool birds like pelican, guineafowl, crane, hornbill and secretary aswell as a couple others like hyrax, honeybadger and dik dik. But the reality is that another africa pack is also prime territory for another ungulate fest and im scared about what we would actually get for such a pack

Pretty funny thing as i do want a baboon more, but i think a more traditional monkey is atleast equally, if not more import to representing africa in zoos.
African monkeys are super common in zoos so they are essential animals to have in my eyes, not only for their own sake but also because i have yet to see a gorilla enclosure that they didnt share with mangabeys, guerezas or similar species.
Its really a depressing thing that we will never get a monkey for every area that needs one, let alone more than one to have options
