I've never scrolled through that dictionary before, but has Macaw always been in it? It's the second word under M. Is there even a reference to Macaws in the game?

How should I put it? I'm leaning towards the fact that we'll get the Secretary Bird. But I've always had a point that the Tree Kangaroo and the Echidna should have been in the Oceania DLC, they came a little late, and I don't understand why these two animals are not in the Oceania DLC.
While i like this roster a lot, I'm hoping there's a least a few more additions to round off the animal selection better (Coati, Pelican, SA monkey, and another bird)
Ugh.
Like, yeah all animals are individually cool and useful and most of them have been requested but really? The very last pack turns out to have only one bird, no american animals at all and they go with ANOTHER lémur instead of a NWM?
I hope this is not what we get. Or that it is a 12 animal pack. Or that there is another pack for Christmas.
Oh boy am i dissapointed before even knowing the DLC
Called the markhor, but why all the dissapointment? If these are the last 8 animals to come to the game, thats a very solid selection ignoring the whole south america situation and even has only 2 ungluates + 6 representetives of more underrepresented groups and even the ungulates are both requested and add something new. And even the weirdest choice in the sifaka is very cool and arguably one of the few animals left modders would have a hard time nailing.
Also lets not be stupid, no way that line up is the final pack when all the juicy south american carnivorans are right there, the capuchin is begging to be cloned and the rhea is propaply the easiest clone thats still highly requested.
Also did anybody else notice the suspicious lack of carnivorans in here?
No way in hell we dont get atleast one more and im more sure then ever that there will be an SA pack aswell, cause that is pretty much the definition of easy money and would explain the lack of them in a final pack when everyone and their mother nows that they are the Nr.1 requested group of animals.
Just wouldnt make sense to leave them out unless they still got something planned for them

I want to believe in your theory, but i just can't. All the waiting, the radio silencie, the PC 2 reléase, this lineup full of Metawishlist animals... It all feels like the last pack.
It's technically not part of New World either. In terms of other Oceania stuff people want, there is the Nene, which is much closer to New World, so I could see a split happening, maybe add a New Zealander to that like the Kakapo or Tuatara.
It all hinges on a split finale of course, which doesn't seem likely at all.
Our list is strangely biased, but I guess there may be undetectable species involved, like American Black Bear and Spectacled Bear, but the lack of prominent Americas is pretty weird.
Intentional misdirection does seem the most likely explanation. (it would make me sad to see the jumpy boy banished, into the shadow realm, from whence it came)

Possibly but theres also enough reason to believe its not, especally when PZ dlc has been frontiers confirmed main money maker according to the last financial report, so hitting up that juicy south america pack for one last big return as the one thing everyone is starved of just sounds like the logical thing to do financially aswell, so im quite optimistic
Tbh, that's what makes me thing that there is maybe more. The coati is right there at the second spot, very hard to ignore.

I hope we don't pin down the exact contents of the last pack(s) from the dictionary. That would be so boring.
Meh... it's annoying enough that we got what was basically an Africa 2 pack... ending with what is basically a South America 2 pack? And with North America not getting anything in these sorta continent packs they've been going with?
Besides, if they're seriously going to make a sequel, they're gonna want to hold onto some big names... maybe that's why we haven't seen a lot of popular SA animals.

I'm gonna be honest, I don't see the appeal of a third tortoise at all. The rest of this roster is pretty solid though, but the lack of a South American monkey irks me.
